Rotations are wack. Malik played 18 min straight. How is that a good idea?

Huerter hits 3 3's, then sits forever. HB sits forever.

Domas' dub-dub streak at some risk.
Hope he will make some fast 5/6 boards in the begining of third quarter to clear them up

Well your best player can’t have 5 points at half time. You can’t miss your free throws. Our offense is three, fade away mid range shots from Monk and bully ball Sabonis. Detroit might cool off a bit from three but we are getting killed when someone besides Sabonis guards Duren and we have no answer for Sasser.
Alex Len can guard Duren. There needs to be a change in strategy coming out of the half.

The Kings could easily win this in the 2nd half, but they could also easily lose this one. Imagine if they go 3 for 20 from 3 or something... that'll be an easy loss.

This is actually pretty close to a must win IMO. Beating teams like the Pistons is how you don't lose touch with those top 4 teams. The Suns, Pels, and Mavs just aren't going away and the top 4 is starting to gain space in the loss column on everyone else.

You're right. Nothing negative is allowed to be said because our record is better than last year. I'll try to not be perceptive.
I mean, when you say “something is very off with the team” that would generally imply them being way worse than last season and not generally on an upward trajectory compared to last season.

Mike Bibby thinks the team is settling for threes too much. I agree with him, and I would say this has been true for much of the year. But we have a better record at this point than last year so this is not a valid point.

Deaaron turns it off way too often. I understand it’s who he is and we’ve seen it every year, but it’s frustrating as hell when you see teams like the Heat who are all effort all the time
I would not call that "turning it off." In the first two minutes of the game, when Fox turned it over, it was clear he looked to be showboating, not playing careful basketball. It was the wrong attitude for a game like this against the worst team in the league. And then he missed all four free throws.

Low point of the season if they lose to this pistons team without their best players.. one loss is just one loss but the morale of losing to such a bad team is just embarassing, unless they come back on friday to beat the nuggets.

We basically had the lead until there was 1:48 left in the second. Pistons road some hot shooting and missed free throws from us. It’s going to be really important to come out strong in the first 10 minutes of this half. Turn the momentum

True, but the Kings aren't going to celebrate if they stay in the 5-8 range of the playoff race. The West is different than last year. There are legit forces and less spoilers at the bottom.

If the Kings do, this Pistons team has folded in a hurry before. Totally doable.

It's a paper tiger of an offense. We do not respond well to adversity and our leads are fragile. We fail the "stress test" as a team, basically.

There is more to diagnosing a team than the record. I'm very concerned about our offense and it's ability to respond to good coaches who scheme well against us. I feel we are slowly but surely being outcoached - despite advances in our player development. Capiche?

What you described, plus half heartedly going for a dunk and proceeding to miss it badly, and then be totally short on his ft attempts… that to me of turning it off and not putting in your best effort
