The Irony of All Ironies... if it happens (Magliore trade) (merged)

With the signing of Magloire, Portland could/should be playoff bound. Look at their current roster:

C Magloire/Pryzbilla
PF Randolph/Aldridge/La Frentz
SF Webster/Miles/Freeland/Outlaw
SG Jack/Dixon/Dickau
PG Roy/Rodriguez/Leonard

There strong at every position being their weakest is at the point wherein they have young talent and yet to prove their worth but other than that I think their team right now can contend and are playoff bound.

Have players, but too young and jumbled for a serious playoff push I would think. Webster isn't ready, and so you are depending on Miles as the stable one. Roy should be the SG I would think, otherwise they don't have one.

Portland, playoffs? Not yet. They'll be more competitive than last year and win some more games, but not even in the playoff picture.

That's a mighty crowded PF/C corps. And we've got backcourt up the wazoo. A trade in the works? Although the only one's they're likely to want to ship out are Randalph/LaFrentz, and they both make me cringe.

And yes, Jack and Roy should be technically swapped on your depth chart, although Roy will handle the ball often (and is my preseason ROTY pick).

Yeah, but right now, that isn't evident. I think he's a good offensive-player, but needs to cut off his attitude and other problems, and put more effort on defense.
