Thanks Artest

In my opinion, Artest deserves A LOT of respect. He came to our team, and immediately we felt the results. From 13th to 8th, I wouldn't have imagined it, but Artest made it a reality. Thanks for reviving the team.

Thanks for playing your heart out. He was injured with a sprained ankle and could barely walk off the court, but he returned. All he had to do was tape it up and he was back. What a warrior.

Thanks for all the hope, Ron, and good luck next season!

Yes, thanks to Ron, Bonzi, and in short part Kevin for their wonderful work this year. everyone else could've done a lot better so I'll give no further kudos.

Artest is the man- if it was ANYONE on the team other then artest (or bonzi) that would have gone to the locker room at half hurting like he was...i would say "damn well were down a man now"

When artest hobbled into the locker room..my roommate and i were like..damn..that fool will be back in 3 minutes ready to go again- hes that damn strong

I love Artest...indiana dosent want him- well take him- GSW dont want him- give him to us..

he has everything this franchise didnt have in the past few years..and i would LOVE to build around him

....all baring he stays sane :)

Artest, Bonzi, and Mike have played through injuries all year long. These 3 get all of my respect. Especially during this game, every hard cut Ron made every board Boni grabbed with his hamstring pulled, everytime Mike took it to the whole trying to draw a foul. I'm bummed about TDOS, but excited about next year.

THANK YOU, RON FOR EVERYTHING. Thank you for bringing toughness and real-D into this team. Although that toughness and strong D of yours didn't, somehow, rub off to 'SOME' Kings.

I dont get it on TV down in so cal- What did he say in his interview?
I'm in the San Fernando valley...on NBATV. He gave credit to Adelman for trusting him, gave a shoutout to the "kids" on the bench (even Price and Sampson) and props to Bonzi for SHOWING up in the playoffs. Made a remark about the defensive lapse in game 5 and how playing good in the playoffs really means something. I think that meant what's up with Mike and Brad?

He's become my new favorite King. He plays his *** off every night, with intense passion for the game...and winning. You can never say the effort wasn't there, and that's what you want out of your basketball team above all things.

The three others I have to give props to:

1) Bonzi- OF COURSE...hopefully another "misfit" that's found a home
2) Martin- I can't wait to see what he can do next year
3) Rick Adelman- Heck of a job staying with these guys, I hope you can /want to come back for another shot next year.

thanks ron, for helping make this team a force. your intensity and desire have served well and gone long ways. your infectious passion has inspired the whole team to play some good ball. a whole season should prove very successful. keep up the great work!

One question, do you guys think Ron goes home check out this website? I always wonder whether players care about what fans say about them on sports forums.

Ron's the man...MVP for changing and leading the team. Bonzi was the most consistent player and did all the dirty work throughout the season.
Hopefully we can get these two for next season. Thank these guys for revitalizing the team.

You are "The Tru Warrior" Ron.

I found it funny in the confrence after the game he said "the better team won"

reporter: "do you really believe that Ron?"

ron: "no, not really"

lol

Thanks Ron. I had my doubts but you gave us heart and intensity and brought this team back into contention. I'm looking forward to next year.

Is it Rick or Sacramento overall that's just able to turn problem players into guys that love to play here and be solid citizens? I hope it's the latter, because the first one could be gone...

I don't think the sight of the state capitol, a bridge painted gold and houses springing up like weeds is enough to change a "bad boy" into a top NBA player.

Rick Adelman has always been known as a player's coach. It's Adelman and his coaching staff IMHO that have made the difference.

Yes I agree, and I think the supportive fans do make a difference. Afterall, these players are still human and have feelings, and you know it has to feel good to be accepted with open arms. There are some tough cities out there..

Ditto. However you can add SAR to the mix, who had to deal with KT's BS about starting. Don't forget Francisco is a rookie. He did alright as one.

SAR had the worst year of his career, so not sure kudos for his play are in order. Kudos for his demeanor and willingness to play hurt though.

SAR got less minutes than he ususally does. He played injured. His shooting % was outstanding and a career best. SAR has gone from #1 option to a very good role player who we will need next year to play well if we decide to keep him on board (I hope).

he got less minutes than he normally does for a reason. He didn't rebound. Or protect the middle. As mentioned, worst year of his career. Still respectable vis a vis the "average" NBA player. But for Reef? Bad year.
