Since there has been another thread that led to confusion and some hurt feelings :p , I thought I'd clear things up by starting a thread to thank the guy who has helped us through this season with true insight, remarkable dedication and a sense of humor at a time when I know he was probably trying hard to say things without the profanity filters removing every other word.

So, Brickie, this thread is for you - or more specifically, your grade threads!

I don't think people realize the amount of effort it takes to do one of those every night. When you added the themes, it was a true stroke of genius!

Thanks!!!

Yeah, good work! I'd even rate your performance even better than Eric Musselman. A million times better.

I'mma jump on the thank you train...

Great grade threads Brick! Hopefully you're gonna have reason to be giving out more A's next season!

Bricklayer: A+++

Overall, a great job with the analysis of both the players and the coach, keeping morale high during the greatest hour of need for a Kings fan. Thought of adding three (or four) more plusses to the grade, but decided to dock for a conspicuous absense during one or two games in the midseason. But overall, one of the best things to look forward to during the season.

:D

THANKS BRICK!!

A+++ On the excellent grades!!

Very impressive in keeping it interesting, and looking at the team, even when it looked like the coach wasn't doing his job. I think everyone here would much rather see you getting the 5 million over Muss!!!

Brick's grades: A++ made insighful, thoughtful comments while maintaing a humorous and sometimes sarcastic tone. In the hands of the wrong person, this could sound cynical, but Brick does it such a way that it makes his post-game analysis endearing and a must-read.

I'd like to start a theme for this thread, it's called things that Brick's grades remind me of:

"A warm, sunny spring day after a hard season of winter!"

Dear, Brickie, I hope that, by now, you know that I hold you in high regard. You are an intelligent and entertaining part of KingsFans.com, and the fun I have reading your grades threads (especially with the added themes) is unparalleled. And, your moderating ain't too shabby either. :D

THANK YOU!!!

Thanks, Brickie!!!! I always LOVE reading your grades even when the truth in them made me cringe! I can't wait to read them again next year. THANKS!!!

It's MUCH easier to thank this Eric than the other.

Thanks Brick, for all your grades threads. They are truely one of the few (basketball related) things I've looked forward to all season. In a season that's been more down than up, and where watching games tended to be more of a torture than a pleasure, thanks for giving us something to look forward to. :)

hope you're happy dude :) you've earned it. Great job with the themes this year, that was super creative. Much more fun than following the actual team results at times...

Wait a minute... you mean to tell me Brickie's name is Eric??? I had no idea.

Let me just take this time to point out that, over the past year, at least 95% of my rants that started "[expletive] you, Eric! You stupid [expletive] [expletive]..." were NOT aimed at you.

Well...

Okay...

Like, 90%...

The grades and everything else by Brick was just brilliant! Takes a lot of smarts to do what he does--makes me smile just to think about some of those grades and comments, etc. Thanks. Annie.

I always eagerly anticipate your grade threads. Especially this past season, because they were more entertaining than the games an awful lot of the time.

I realize reading them, that it takes a lot of your time to put them together for us. Then the themes on top of that! :eek: You outdid yourself. Thanks.:D

Brickie,

Who said it was a thankless job?

Well Done.

Unfortunately, the bad news is that based on my sports fan experience, more specifically the Los Angeles Rams move to St Louis and subsequent Super Bowl victory, and since you dropped your Kings season tickets this year, the Kings will win the NBA Championship in 2007-2008.

Furthermore, beautiful, scantily-clad, RC dancers will shoot 1,000 Kosher hotdogs into the stands at every home game throughout the season. This will be a difficult situation to watch on your wide-screen television.

All this time I thought your real name was Bricklayer!? :eek: JK!!:p

Thanks Mr. Brick, for everything...from being a Mod to the grades!
