Terrible Kings trades proposed by the internet super thread

Vecenie suggests Sochan for Yabusele which is quite maddening if that is actually a realistic trade proposal.

Also reading the article it appears that we'd be taking in 12 million in new salary? Is that right? Can we do that, and if so it puts us pretty deep into luxury tax payer category (~10 million) we'd have to get out of, and would wind up costing us like 40 million+ if I understand how paying vs. receiving works.

Not necessarily a terrible trade but DeMar needs to be going to a good team if not for his sake then for my conscience’s.

I think Brooklyn would either waive him immediately or try to trade him in the off-season. His contract for next season is only partially guaranteed so he'll probably be a free agent in the summer if they don't just waive him right away. I don't think this works out terribly for DeMar -- he gets to play in NYC for a few months and then pick his next team.

other than losing one of his last chances at post season play

It's not like he has that now. Yeah it would probably be better for him to be a key part of a playoff run but I don't think sending him to Brooklyn for half a season is all that tragic. I wouldn't mind living in NYC for 4 months and throwing up elite numbers on a bad team while I think about where to go next.

Here’s a great laugh. I stumbled across it searching for KINGS-related trade rumors and wish I hadn’t. https://airalamo.com/spurs-familiar-trade-partner-could-be-available-for-another-fleecing

Whomever wrote this garbage clearly wasn’t aware of the De’Aaron Fox/Klutch situation and how that “fleecing” all went down.

Now he thinks the Spurs can force another bad deal.

Lots of one-dimensional thinking dolts on the Internet.
I would like to punch this guy in the nuts.

"Despite their leverage, the Spurs fleeced the Kings" (paraphrased)

No, no. It was because of the leverage, bozo.

I do not care if you hate Domas trading him just for expiring is the stupidest thing. Oh sure maybe we can take on some other useless player to get an extra pick or two but I think only the dumbest teams are trading more than one FRP these days.
