There are a couple of guys on the blue team that I would like to see paired with Cousins.

Love what I'm seeing so far. This is gonna open some people's eyes as to just what DMC can do with quality players around him.

What an incredible treat to hear someone actually praise Demarcus Cousins.

The comeback story is the best sports story. Cousins is just setting us all up with his "troubled past" before he becomes the best center ever and goes on to lead the Kings to multiple championships :)

I'll roll with that. :)

Sometimes when you only hear the negative, it's hard to believe a positive exists...of course, it IS Thomas. ;)

Man, Cousins will be beastly once he decides to hit the weights. (More so, that is.)

What won't it?
Increased stamina, easier positioning, durability, etc. It makes the things you do well easier to do, it helps strengthen your weakness. Unless you were being facetious. There are many benefits to strength training.

Cousins will have Anthony Davis on his team as a PF, how nice would that be to have that combo on the Kings?
Team USA

I closed the thread after you posted this, so I thought I'd respond here.

I think we're gonna see a whole different side to DMC with the talent he has around him right now. These guys are, for the most part, the best of the future of the NBA and their coming together at this point in their careers bodes very well for the future of TeamUSA. And having new owners on the Kings bodes well for DMC getting players around him who can bring out the very best in him.

Sure, just being stronger doesn't necessarily mean it will make him a better player though. Which is why I asked what you felt additional strength will add to his game. I have never felt he was lacking in strength, his endurance could use some work but that seemed to be a cardio issue more than a strength issue to me. His defensive deficiencies also don't seem to stem from strength, but knowledge and desire. He is a finesse player on offense so strength isn't the issue there.

Of course a bit more strength will help him, but I don't see it making him "beastly".

Unclear of course how definitive/significant this scrimmage is, but its our only look. Based on it so far out of the bigs you'd say Monroe, Davis, Faried and Cousins have shown pretty well in spurts. Anderson and Drummond just eh. Jordan, Favors, Zeller nothing.

Cousins looks like he is in great shape. and how great is it to hear them praising him for being the first one out on the court practicing before the game.

im encouraged. he seems like he is set for a monster breakout year

Do we have any idea what bigs that aren't here today are expected to compete for a roster spot? I heard someone mention Howard and Love.
