TDOS side note or two: I like Breyers chocolate ice cream a lot, so maybe if it was a choice between several of the common vanillas and them I would have voted chocolate.
For some reason the other main competitors don't quite measure up and get this on a recent price comparison. Breyers 1.5 quart: Raley's/Bel Air - $6.49 Winco - $2.75
Save Mart - $4.99 Walmart - $3.00
If those were my only three options, I'd go with chocolate. But, I'm a huge fan of really good vanilla and actually use it as a quality check when testing a new ice cream brand.
I like chocolate in general, with vanilla bean coming in top 3 or top 5. Can't stand most fruity desserts (pies, ice cream, fillings, etc) unless it is apple-related.
If high quality REAL strawberry with strawberry chunks then Strawberry.
If it's artificial flavored junk, then chocolate, artificial strawberry is gross.

That was my assumption when I voted for strawberry. If its the gross strawberry of the neapolitan variety well that means everyone else is stuck with crappy other flavors too. I think I'd stop eating ice cream if it came down to that.
