works for me and I'm neither using a Windows OS nor located anywhere near US soil, which are the two factors usually screwing these things up for me. so yeah, it must be the phone.

Steve Large is in Seattle, told CBS13 that the Maloofs turned down the original offer but Seattle is now sweetening the pot and trying to negotiate.....

The best part about all of this is hopefully Grant Napear, Jerry Reynolds, Geoff Petrie, and Keith Smart would probably all get fired if the team moved!

What if Burkle makes the biggest offer (unlikely but...)

I still think the league would prefer to keep the team in Sacramento but if the offers are too far apart and there is a move, they are likely to approve the move to Seattle than anywhere else.

I am hoping that the league takes over these negotiations to be honest.

Bill Simmons was on a halftime show with Magic Johnson and Jalen Rose the other day. They were talking about DeMarcus, and how he needs to get traded to another team (typical big-market TV crap). Simmons said something like "Yeah, but I think they're waiting to see if they're going to sell the team before they decide what to do with him." They cut to commercial very, very awkwardly, almost like they cut him off. At the time, I thought "huh, that's funny." Didn't realize he might have been talking about something very specific in the works.

I'd say that's great news if you're a Seattle Sonics fan. But it's not like any of them have a clue about the players on this team anyway.

sounds like it. why would they go and negotiate with seattle when kj said he has potential buyers willing to keep the team in sac? why do they keep negotiating relocation behind the backs of sac and denying it publicly? of course they're not gonna sell to burkle, that would make too much sense for the city of sacramento.
