i love seeing corliss knocking people around. we are so much more aggressive in the paint. i think skinner is averaging over 2 blocks a game.

Almost thought it was a troll post, but I digress. Im not sold until the Post season starts and we see where we're at.

unfortunately i believe that even though we did gain some inside toughness in the new guys we got...we will forever be called the Queens...especially if we have an absolute horrible game...i don't think we'll ever get over it...no matter what happens to us in the future

the other day on Sportcenter they called us the Queens...i mean ive heard other teams fans call us that and maybe Barkley...but to hear some sportcaster on the Sportcenter say it...it really pissed me off

See, that is just unprofessional for a sportscaster who is supposed to be unbiased to say something like that. When other people hear that and when other athletes hear that it makes them think that name calling like that is acceptable when it isn't...it's just unsportsmanlike.

"Queens" is just too obvious a a slanderous nick name for the team to ever loose. Solid tough play will get the sportscasters to show respect but realy all I care about is what the team DOES not what people say about them.

Queens had nothing to do with style of play, and frankly ours hasn't changed much (actually has gotten softer since our peak when that monniker was coined by panicky Laker fans).
