...and go on to play the Red Sox in the World Series. It should be a fantastic series by 2 clubs that can power the ball out, and who are good defensive teams.

Okay, so my dilemma...how the heck do I root against the Red Sox to get the monkey (dang curse) off their backs? Or, how the heck do I root against the Cardinals, the team closest to me geographically, who is supported by a great many friends and family members.

Oh, what to do.......

What? Its already over? Last time I checked the score it was 2-1

Whenever in that dilemma I always do either of the following: Root for the team with the players you hate the least or whichever uniform you like the most! ;) :)

I hope its a good world series, and i think it will be

I totally agree that the playoffs have been phenominal. When the NLCS and the ALCS both go 7 games (between 4 very talented teams)...oh yeah!...that was good baseball.

Yeah, I think this has been the best playoffs (and season-ending, for that matter, as long as you're not a Giants or A's fan:p ) I've seen since I've been watching baseball. Even better than 2002 when the Angels surprised everyone (including the Giants, again :p) and won the World Series.

Good year, and I'm expecting another classic series between these two teams. Don't care who wins, just want to see a good series.

... Which I'm not... :p

Being a marginal baseball fan at best; I've found this postseason to be highly entertaining, indeed.

Arizona's twin aces (Johnson, Schilling) almost singlehandedly (doublehandedly I guess) knocking off the Yankees in the Series a couple of years back was fun too. Heck, ANYBODY knocking off the Yankees is fun. :D
