Tonight we can at least blame Finley.

For the first time I don't really feel like opening this thread. Still not recovered from the last night and considering the opponent tonight - "just doesn't feel right" Anyways, Kings 4-6 going on 4-7 had a great chance to go from "suck" to mediocrity (0.500) and blew it last night. Still just as bad as LA Kobes which is frustrating. Prognosis pretty dark at the moment. Winning streak over with a losing streak on the horizont.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
BB is a team game and that means the whole team which would include a bench which is supposed to give some sort of useful production.. We don't have that and no matter how long we wait - we might not get there. Our bench is so bad that we couldn't trade any player "straight up" even for second round draft picks. Just like a neverending nightmare. How does one go from Bobby, JJ, Hedo, Keon and Scott to the garbage that we have now which is BTW much more expensive. WTF ?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Our starters have been really good except the TOs and the FTs mostly caused by the fact that players still getting to know each other. As good as we are in the starting five - we still will miss PO unless we make a trade or sign someone who can actually help. Maybe it is time to send someone to Europe again. Just look at the Spurs.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Still can't let the last nights game go. We outshot them and outrebounded them and still lost the game. Pathetic. You can't win a game with 5 guys. Well, we only have 5. In case of major injury we are looking at a high draft pick here. -30 pts in bench scoring. This is a bench made of Radmanovic, Potapenko, Cleaves and Willkins. You have got to be kidding me!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spurs are way abobe our league these days. Pistons put us in place and Spurs are at the same level. Team that we can't deal with. A collection of "Kings killers." Their bench NVE, Finley,Horry, Oberto, Mohammed would cause trouble to our starting five. You add Udrich an Barry and Spurs are 12 deep. We are 5 deep (flat) and we might be only 4 if Pedja can't play. We can stop their guards or Duncan. Our only chance is if the Spurs come out flat, miss a lot and suck trough the whole game. Not looking good.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bibby - played well last night. Tonight against Parker - trouble
Pedja - with an injury and Bowen waiting - can not ask for too much. You can ask but You won't get it.
Miller - will be blocked 5 times tonight.
SAR - 5-7 TOs and bunch of missed Fts
Wells - he actually might do well tonight.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bench

You Suck !!!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
RA - don't see him last long with what he has to work with at the moment.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spurs - defending champion. I hope that I am wrong but they are too good for us at the moment.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Go Nets !

TO City.

I think Peja will impress.

Miller - will be blocked 5 times tonight.
Not a chance, because Miller is going to be hanging out at the 3 point line.

SAR - 5-7 TOs and bunch of missed Fts
FT% over past 3 games 80%. He's getting his form back.

As for the TOs ... he's still second on the team for lowest TOs per game.

Biggest concern with Reef is being Mr. Passive. He needs to attack and if he is going to sit back and do his best John Stockton impression ... BENCH HIM.

Wells - he actually might do well tonight.
He might. Let's just hope he stays within himself and within the system. I hate seeing SuperWells.

I have a good feeling about tonight. Call me crazy, but i think we walk away tonight with a win.

Ok, your crazy. Just kidding. Though our chances are poor at best. Really need some sort of X-factor out there or Spurs would have to work at losing this game in order to do so. Would I love to see a W tonight? Of course. Will it happen, not likely.

As Kings fans should know from bitter and frequent experience, the most dangerous teams to play are the ones that apparently do not have a chance to win.

I'm not saying the Kings are going to win, because it will take a Herculean effort from them AND a pretty abysmal showing from the Spurs. But it could happen.

GO KINGS!!!!!

Hey, I remember a time when people around here complained why the bench doesn't play more minutes, they called RA crazy because he played the starters 40+.
I guess we don't have to worry about that at the moment. :D

Yeah me, I found something good in all the "badness" of the bench.

We need some super formula drink that will energize our starters and give them the stamina to play 48 minutes a game. Oh, and it should make sweat multicolored so we'll know it's working. I've heard rumors of this Gatorade thing being developed. Gators are rather ferocious beasts. Wonder how they taste, liquidized. Sounds promising.

Kings are not in the Spurs league at this point this will be a ugly game possibly as long as we see some Bench production I will be happy.

The Kings have never lost in the new millenium with me at a game. My streak will be put to the test tonight, but I will be wearing the same thing I always do.

If Pejas out does Corliss start? Doesn't he have the Flu or something?
Bricklayer mentioned and I agree that we just might see Bibby, Bonzi, KT, SAR and Miller as the starters. And, thinking about it, that might not actually be THAT bad... It would be different and it might give Pops pause.

What does that leave us with as the 6th man coming off the bench?
