Please do not blame the officials. That's an embarrassing cop out Kings fans tend to use way too much, IMHO. The Spurs have outplayed the Kings the past few minutes and it shows. This is a championship team out there, remember?

At least it was not an enbarrassing blow out. Imagine if Bibby had actually shown up to play or if we did not have so many STUPID TO's. I do not think that we could even come close to calling this a "moral vistory," but at least we kept it close until the end.

It is never a cop out if it is valid, and in this game it was pretty valid. Both teams had the same strategy: Drive the ball inside and get to the line, which both teams did, but only one team was being sent to the line. It would be a copout if the Kings were settling for long jumpers, but they were doing the same thing the Spurs were and just not being given the same treatment.

We ended up +7 on rebounds (!!!!!), but turned it over so often it didn't matter.

I'm sorry, we lead the league in FTs, and quite possibly flops. We have absolutely NO reason to ever be raising the "biased refs" argument around here this season.


As an aside, what the hell is up with a timeout down by 7 with 2 secs to go.
