Ok I was bored and happened to check out sactown royalty's site... since its been awhile..
they had posted a "Kings assets rankings"
http://www.sactownroyalty.com/2010/...307860/sactown-royaltys-kings-asset#storyjump
coming in at #4 ahead of Greene/Casspi/JT i was shocked to see Spencer "soggy waffles" Hawes... btw totally disagree with him being above those guys... but spence hawes!!!
the poster when on to explain that if Hawes were a 4th year senior in college he would be owning it and the Pac 10... Funny that I give Hawes a lot of flack but dang he is still really young... and this poster could be right...its possible that he would be doing really well in college maybe even being close to a double double guy...
however that got me thinking... im still not really sure he would be all that much better than what he did when he his 1st year in college... his rebounding is just seriously so weak... and he doesnt seem to be putting in the effort and work to get better. in fact i think its obvious that he hasn't and it shows on the floor, as well as in what he says in interviews...
As with all young Center prospects time is still on his side and he has shown some flashes... but you still cant help but to be disappointed with his effort, work ethic and attitude.... he has this sense of entitlement, and its too bad... but as much as i hate on this guy...
here's hoping that he finally straightens his head out and puts in the hard work this summer... it would be nice if he could one day reach his potential...
