Slam magazine article on Cousins:

“As of right now, I’d rank myself top three. And that’s behind Dwight and Andrew Bynum. But I feel like I’ll be passing them soon, as well.”

So do we Boogie, so do we. :)

that's the one thing I love most about DMC, he just gets it. he's expressed admiration for Tim Duncan numerous times and that's about as good a sign as there could be. he sees what he needs to do and he remains honest and outspoken in dealing with the media (sadly, not necessarily a quality that'll help him, but I still think it's great). let's just hope the Kings will make the playoffs soon, I don't want him to have any reason not to stay with the Kings.

He is misunderstood but thats hardly the issue. As long as he maintains this mentality he'll take us to the top.

I'm glad he rated himself #3. Show's hes in touch with the league and he's hungry. Whether you guys wanna argue Bynum vs DMC, the fact that he's got targets is good.

Would prefer he not wanna emulate Melo though.

Hes shut down dwight and outplayed him in the past. He hasnt gotten the better of Bynum but i cant wait for those duels

He certainly has, but these things don't mean much in the grand scheme of things. I think Cousins will surpass Bynum sooner rather than later, but as of this particular moment, it's fair to have Bynum ranked ahead. No way I'd trade Cuz for him, though.

Yeah, in one of the games last season, Cuz started out hitting that 15 footer over and over again. Then when Bynum came out on him, he started putting the ball on the floor and going by him. Totally outplayed him in that game. He also got Bynum in foul trouble.
