The joke is that we may actually have been able to get Marion for Peja this summer, and someone even suggested Marion/Johnson might be possible for Peja/Doug.

The funny thing is, Peja may be a better fit for Phoenix's offense than Marion. Can you imagine a happy Peja being setup on the break by Nash?

Phoenix would also get a veteran PG who can run the show if Nash gets hurt, and a big body to clog the lane. Sure, they give up some duplicated scoring in Johnson, but it actually addresses some of their issues.
