Why don't we just trade our 2nd round pick to the Rockets for 40 year old Dikembe Mutombo (1 year 2.2 million), and call it a day? He at least makes people think twice about driving to the hoop.

Let me ask. How are we going to get a young shotblocker like Darko? They do not come often sometimes you have to pay alittle bit more for the big guys. Actually look at the average salary for a young 7 footer in today's game? They are not cheap.

Last night
11pt 6reb 3 blks in 24 mins. Darko 5th in the league in blocks per game averaging only 19.3 minutes per game and 1st in league blk per 48mins. I say that is worth 60 million added to the fact he is only 21 and loads of poential and on top of it has the quickest feet in the league for a 7 footer.
Not to mention that 2 of his 3 blocks last night were on JO.

AK would get eaten alive in the post. AK is best used guarding perimeter swingman. We need a post defender we already have Artest having AK would be somewhat redundant.
