Shaq vs. Bynum

Whoa! Shaq throws it down in the face of the 18 yr old kid (Bynum) and gives him that "I am the man" look.

Then on the very next possession, Bynum does a quick move right around Shaq for a throw-down of his own. The kid was so pumped that when he ran down to the other end of the floor he gave a hard bump right into Shaq's shoulder. Shaq was ticked off and threw a quick forearm right back at Bynum.

Shaq was damned lucky that he wasn't ejected. Instead, a double T was called on both players.

That throw-down by Bynum had to be embarrasing to the Fat Man. Hehehehe!!! :D

Let's see if Shaq is suspended for that "intentional elbow to the head/neck area".

...or are we once again going to rationalize another intentional elbow?

Bynum threw the first one. Leads down to 9.

Funny how our outlook changes once a player leaves a team ;)

Hahaha!! Yes, we do change our outlook don't we? Shaq used a forearm, not an elbow. And, he hit him in the shoulder, not the head. They mentioned that Bynum taunted him and shoved first is the only reason Shaq wasn't ejected. Personally, I was thrilled for the young kid. :p

I like the kid already. I so hate Shaq.

****ing Heat can't do anything right; they win every game that I want them to lose, and lose every game that I want them to win...

Nope. I've been challenging Stupid Stu and Rod Thorn before him for 3 years on this site. Consistency is what I want.

Lakers... Look Good. I've watched Bynum even before tonight and what i see, scares me. The way he came back at Shaq... unbelievable. Odom is starting to step up, with big performances against the Cavs and now the Heat. Phil Jackson is a great coach, and has this team playing as well as they posibly can. I was completely wrong about the Lakers, and also about Kobe... I think The Lakers will continue to play well and will make the playoffs. Bryant is just so dominant right now.

So Kobe should enforce by using a forearm to the shoulder region or with an elbow to the chest region. Got it.

Bynum's shoulder prevented him from getting that "forearm" to the chin. No way Shaq aimed for his shoulder. He tried to hit his face and he missed...just like a free throw.

Oh, c'mon, Gargy......intentional or not, Shaq missed and Kobe didn't. When you think about, what did you expect? :p

That's^ not nothing 6th it's something. He extended his arm too. It's semantics, he initiated contact in anger and with intent, Shaq responded, double technical.

They just showed it again, they both clearly threw an elbow. ;)

That was not an elbow. Contact was made at the shoulder and then he pushed off while widening the gap between his arm and his own body. You can semantic it all you want, but no way that qualifies as "throwing" an elbow. Besides, the kid was not pissed off, he was jazzed up. That was a damn pretty move he had just put on Shaq and he was highly jubilant about it. He gave a "take that, sucker" shove. :p

p.s. I have seen it at least 10 times. I still say it is not an elbow.

p.p.s. An elbow is what Peeler threw at KG. Bwahahahaha!!

Shaq hit Bynum's neck/facem, pretty clearly, while Bynum hit his forearm. That should be a suspension, under the rules, even if Bynum initiated it (ever so slightly).

No...but you see...he didn't actually aim for the chin. It accidentally went into the chin because Bynum didn't have his shoulder raised high enough. Therefore, Shaq shouldn't be suspended.

It was a forearm too...not an elbow. That pic is doctored.

Hell suspend him. Suspend Kobe for what he did. I still don't have a problem with Kobe hitting someone coming down the lane (I do have a problem that it was payback for an accidental elbow, but thats a different story).

Shaq's forearm isn't as bad as the one Kobe threw, which is why there will be no suspension, but Shaq should probably get fined or maybe a game.

who has the picture of kwame brown acting like hes gonna run on court to help bynum? that was hilarious... :D
