Shaq invites Cousins to his big man camp

Shaq doesn't invite people he doesn't think are worth the effort. I would like to see DMC learn some inside moves from the Big Aristotle, and hopefully Shaq would be able to coach him about how to take hits, etc. without taking it personally.

Not opposed to this, but not sure how skillful it is to make this public, as opposed to inviting in private giving Cuz the opportunity to politely decline. Kinda rude to do it this way if you ask me.

Under what plausible reason would Cousins politely decline an open invitation to learn from one of the most dominant players to ever play the game at his position? A lot of Shaq's go to moves are what DMC is going after at this stage of his game. Half hook, quick spin off post, using his weight and body to clear space, etc. DMC can't match the explosiveness or quickness Shaq had early on, but in the class of "power" post players, Shaq is one of the guys to learn from. Whether he can teach is another story.
ZBo, Jefferson, Bynum, and DMC are probably the best power post guys in the league imo. They can just keep pushing you further and further in or seal you off because of their size.
Hope this "big man camp" works out for Shaq so he has something to fall back on when he gets fired for being amazingly horrible at his job.

Boogie should politely decline FT practice though.

It was on inside the nba last night, they were talking about most improved player and dmc was brought up then shaq said he is inviting dmc to the big man camp
