The Sonics currently own the 4th worst record in the league right now, if I'm not mistaken, and have dealt with injuries most of the year. With key vets in Allen and Lewis, however, I'm not sure how many more 1st rounders they want to gamble on before their window closes. They've stockpiled several already: Collison, Swift, Petro, Sene. Are they really going to draft another project big man?
With that in mind, I'd think they'd be an ideal trade target. Either Bibby or Brad for one of their picks/project bigs, or as a possible team to swap picks with. I don't have any concrete proposals in mind (other than the immediate, offhand musing of Bibby for Watson/Fortson's expiring/pick) but think this could be a fertile ground for trade proposals. The possibility (completely unfounded, but interesting to consider) of Adelman sticking around in the Northwest and coaching the Sonics makes things even more intruguing. Thoughts?
