I didn't write it but you have to understand who it was directed to. He/she specifically directed it to those fans on that forum who lied and badmouthed our team, our city, and even this forum. I think they had it coming to them...

I understand what you're saying but you know what? It's not about Seattle any more. It's not about what people posted on THEIR website about their hopes for a team to return to their city.

This is a new era for us. A joyful time. We don't have to kick anyone in Seattle. Our joy shouldn't depend on their sadness.

Can't we just put that behind us and celebrate what we have? The only thing worse than a poor loser is a poor winner IMHO.

They will not take it down, it makes the poster look bad (and by extension Kings fans) Low class move and unnecessary. I went over yesterday to read and enjoy seeing where their bluster went. Im done, it's over and they just are not important. Likewise today I will reflect on all the Maloofs did to and for the team and tomorrow I will move on beceause they are of no more consequence that the Seattle fans.

We can at least appreciate that their last act in the NBA was screwing over the people of Seattle rather than the fine Kings fans.

Quit whining and acting so righteous! Have you badmouthed the Maloofs at all in your posts? What's the difference between that and that guy posting what he did? Lighten up a little bit. If you take out the profanity laced last paragraph it was pretty spot on.

The difference is, the Maloofs have actually done things that affected us, sonics fans have not.

I was reading through the archives at sonicssinking and went back to the late January thread when the sale was announced. There were guys like Woj, Aldridge, and a whole SLEW of other reporters with credibility saying that "their sources in the NBA" were telling them it was a done deal and that the relocation vote would happen in late January... WTF?

So this just goes to show you how much you can trust those "sources". Chris Daniels tweets back then were blasphemous.

I have absolutely NO problem with everything that was said up until the last paragraph. Then you could argue it got little dicey. But honestly, that whole post for me was more directed to media folks like Bucher, Daniels etc.

It's not about right or wrong. It's about time and place, sportsmanship and class. If the writer wants to take it to Rick Bucher or the individual posters, that were wrong, cruel and stupid go at them, but a long open diatribe is just spiking the football and screaming in granny's face because she has the wrong jersey on. There are good fans that don't need to have to read that stuff, not because it is correct or incorrect because it is unnecessarily mean and classless. By starting a tread he attacks all Seattle fans and by extension his behavior becomes a reflection on all kings fans. I just think it was the wrong time, and wrong place.
