I kind of feel bad for Ham—he doesn’t actually know basketball all that well, and is going to have to do real reporting without Doug and Jerry being able to spoonfeed him the GM’s thoughts. Seems like a nice guy, but it‘s going to be a rough go for a couple years.

No worries. The founders of Crown Downtown were starting work on a video about the need for a new arena and he offered to "help". Instead, he "took" all the video/interviews we had shot, "legally" claimed the raw video was his (to do with what he liked), made "Small Market, Big Heart" (definitely not the film we were trying to make) with his (Here We ...) friends, threatened to personally sue Mike Tavares (Crown Downtown organizer) after we pushed back about what he was doing, and basically sabotaged our project to make the film "he" wanted.

You know, he did throw us in the film credits under "Research", and that was just so very THOUGHTFUL and GENEROUS of him.

You never know. Type of team who is so close. Take advantage. Gary Harris was terrible in the playoffs but he’s also capable and a good defender. Harris and Bol Bol. I doubt they deal Porter but Denver window Is now.

I question the source above too, nobody else seems to have picked up on it yet? Well known that Buddy could be traded, so might just be that source throwing s**t at the wall.

I'm fully on board with trading Hield for young players and picks.

I would not do that trade. Buddy is worth more than that, and Belly has value for a contender at the deadline.

That was when I was young and naive. Now I'm old and cynical. Being a Kings fan will do that to you...

Sure, you absolutely throw in Holmes if you get RPJ back, but I still don't think it's enough. MPJ could be huge for them this year and we all know he has the talent to be an all-star level player if he can stay healthy.

If there's some fire to go with this smoke there's two things to glean here:

1) McNair is indeed looking to be a tank commander.

2) One of the following is true:

a) The new Kings FO and/or the Nuggets FO is leakier than you'd hope for.

b) The new Kings FO is purposely putting some trade details out there in an effort to up the bidding for Buddy.

Hield to Denver has never made a ton of sense to me. Murray/Hield/Porter/Jokic is a very weak defensive team. That's lethal shooting, but I question if they can get over the hump if they can't defend down the stretch.

I always thought they would prefer Barnes vs. Hield since he's got good size/strength at SF, can defend, and can shoot. I bet they were talking to Houston about Covington. Would have been a great fit there too.
