Traded for Will Solomon? that's all I got. I think it's a done deal, though.
 
Goodbye Mikki. Thanks for being around long enough to get posterized by Oden, the local cheap toys and souveniers store in the mall here is selling this enduring image for $10 a shot. Also one of the ladies upstairs liked your hair, I guess that was about the nicest compliment you could give a player on the 08-09 Kings.
 
Wow, were officially cleaning house. Getting a lot of garbage but garbage with expirings this year. Kinda funny. Hopefully we keep tanking so we have a shot at the top 3 picks. I like this, but forget about playoffs anytime soon. I would keep cleaning house next year too and avoiding any type of extensions (like Beno see no), so we can hit the market big time in 2011. By that time we could have given the young picks 2 years of solid play and get a star quality free agent.
 
Yes Solomon was traded, and the C's could have traded Solomon for Mikki.

Anybody know the details of Solomon's contract? Why would we trade someone that we could essentially waive at the end of the season for 2 mill. Unless Solonon's expires.

So maybe its a 3 team deal? The way that trades have been reported its hard to believe anything is a "done deal" until that player shows up in uniform. But VF doesn't ordinarily post rumors in this section.

That's awesome. I will take waiving Mikki. Let him go to a better team and let's prevent giving Natt the temptation to play him over JT, Hawes, Diogu, Simmons, etc.
 
So how does waiving him help? At this point Im confused, what do we have in terms of expirings and whos left on the team. Someone should post something by this afternoon and chat about the possible scenarios for next year assuming we tank the season.
