could he be a possibility i know the suns are trying to get him but i think he could be huge off the bench and also if cwebb were to go down we could move miller to pf. i dont know if it could happen but he would help he can brd and blk.

I'd say give up OTAG. All contract bs aside, samuel is younger, quicker, boards and blocks better. can score in close. Iverson would cry if he had to play with OTAG.

Maybe they'll take Daniels for Iverson, too.

Yeah, I bet the Sixers would be at a crossroads with this one: "Hrm....should we give up a center with potential in a league that's big-man starved for either Joe Johnson or Greg Ostertag? We're gonna have to think long and hard about this one boys."

Face it, there is only one theoretically movable piece on this team that would net us anything substantial, and I've talked about him enough for a lifetime.

When is the last day for trades? I want to mark that date on my calendar and then celebrate it with a party unequaled in modern times.

;)

Gee, VF. I'm getting the feeling that you might be getting tired of all the trade talk here. ;)

Dalembert kind of reminds me of a poor man's Ditkembe Mutumbo -- smaller + a better athlete, but long, lean + mechanical. Sort of guy that could help us if we played him, but frankly I don't trust Rick to play guys like that consistently because of his skillaidescope vision.

In any case, as somebody mentioned above when you've got Joe Johnson apparently on the table for him, that's puts him well out of our price range unless we trade a core guy.

Why bother getting him? He will play Otags minutes and Otag is better suited to be in that position of max 15 min a game. From all I have heard of the love for Sam in Philly, I don't think he is going to be traded.

vf--near as i can tell somewhere around the 20th of Feb...

(calling NME, calling NME)--need exact date please..

why why why. Damn we have lost 14 games and are playing great with or without our stars. Our Bench is great chemistry is great. Why in the blue hell would we want to trade away that.

Because our 6th man is gone at least until the playoffs, a new roadblock is emerging in the Spurs which we need to get around, and we neither defend nor rebound at the level that any championship team of the last 15 years at least has.

As usual its a damn fine team we have here, but let's not miss this time.
