Since there nothing to talk about for the next 2-3 days here something:

Former King and current Buck "Samuel Dalembert is the 1st player in NBA history to get 35 pts & 12 rebs in 27 min or less."

The dude could do no wrong, he was making 10 foot hooks and 18 foot jumpers which were just getting net not touching the rim. Amazing god like performance from Sammy! At one point he was 16/17 from the field and finished 17/21.

i saw that. crazy stuff. i never liked the fact that we didnt resign him, Cousins needs a shotblocker next to him. signing Hayes instead, was a tragedy.

Would of been a dangerous frontcourt. Our starting lineup could of been Beno/Reke/Salmons or JJ/DMC/Daly.

Highlights of Sammy's Career High

You're assuming Dalembert was willing to sign a new contract with Sacramento. Indications are he was not inclined to do so. Can you blame him? He's probably thanking his lucky stars that he wasn't stuck here longer.

Why when in the Bucks hes averaging 9 mins less and was getting plenty of DNP's on a average team, I personally rather play more on a bad team than play way less on a average team.

I would love to see us go after Dalembert and Beno in the off-season to repair some of the madness we achieved in the last two years.

Maybe you would. It was pretty clear back then, that Dalembert had no intention of staying in Sacramento.

Dally didnt like Westphail.

Seriously though, if it wasnt for the fact that the team is for sale (and that we have an incompetent, passive loser for a GM) I'd be all about trading with the Bucks. They have Dalembert, Sanders, Henson, and Udoh....How many shotblocking PF/Cs do you need guys?! Quit hogging!

He didn't like WP and he was under the impression that he was going to get a big payday like all other the bigs that year. When the big payday didn't happen we could have still gotten him for less then hayes money + outlaw money and locked him up for 4 years. Anyone with a brain would have not had WP on the bench to start the next season anyway.

Edit wasn't that also the year we tried to low-ball AK47? Now we are paying Salmons and other pieces money that could have gotten him also. Its not just about spending money its about spending money wisely and at the right time. Unfortunately. Now we are at the cap and have what to show for it? That offseason hurt.

Then there were the rumors of GP thinking he was just using us to get a larger contract from the Rockets, and feeling slighted, he pulled the offer. Hey GP, ever hear of bidding for talent in free agency?!

Dzalembert wouldn't be able to do that with the present Kings. Our players don't show signs of hot hands very often but when they do they don't get the ball anymore. The players and the coach are very efficient at icing them.
