Sac/Min

Kings swap the 4th with Min for the 6th. Min gets Tyreke Evans, the player they want. We choose from Jennings, Holiday, Flynn, Curry and possibly Harden or combination thereof.

We then get their 18th for our 31st and have the 6th, 18th and 23rd pick. Worst case they want the 23rd, so we have the 18th instead of the 23rd, which may garner a Terrance Williams or James Johnson instead of a lesser tier player at 23. I may ask for a future second in this case.

I hope we draft Tyreke Evans if we keep the 4th, but would be open to a deal like this one.

I'm not sure Evans won't last to six anyway. If Rubio is there at 4 we likely grab him, and Washington's 5 is a pretty big wildcard. If Minnesota is really targeted on Evans, they'd probably do best to see what goes down first. If we of the Wizards grab him, time to make some trade offers, but there's a good chance they can just wait for him at their own pick.

This is a pretty solid idea, although I can't imagine more duplicative players than Tyreke Evans and Randy Foye. Not saying that's a reason this won't go down though since McHale traded for Love on draft day when he already had Jefferson. McHale's stupidity makes anything possible.

Isn't there some question, however, about just what Kevin McHale's role is going to be with the TWolves? I think they may be getting a little tired of his decisions.

Just thought it'd be worth nothing, that if we hear nothing regarding trades right up to the draft, and we pick somebody relatively unexpected like Evans, it is definitely possible that a trade like this be announced later since we seem to really like guys pegged lower like Holliday and Flynn.

Figured I'd say that because trades like this don't usually happen until the picks are actually made :)
