Successful ScenarioDue to Sacramento and Chicago being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Sacramento and Chicago had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Why Chicago does it: Chandler is awful on offense. They have no low post scoring and when starting SAR can give you 16-20 points per game in the post. He's not a good rebounder but I think he'd be fine playing next to Chandler. The Bulls also get their big guard who can play next to Gordon(Garcia). They can get someone decent with the 19th pick. The bulls still have a ton of cap room after this trade.
Why Sacramento does it: We need shotblocking! After this trade we can draft Tyrus Thomas. When Brad first came here he was a pretty decent post defender, if he could be that again Tyrus would be the perfect complement next to him. Duhon can be our 3 point shooting PG off the bench and he's a good defender too. That is stuff we DESPERATELY need. Harrington is just salary filler. I hate giving up on SAR who has a GREAT contract and attitude and I also hate giving up on Garcia but I don't see anywhere for him to play and we need the shotblocking.
If we re-sign Bonzi the line up looks like:
Bibby/Duhon
Wells/Martin
Artest/Wells
Tyrus/Kenny(dump him for Spliff Robinson and Jeff Mcinnis)
Brad/Tyrus/Potapenko
we can sign a back up center like Lorenzen Wright with the MLE.
