Ron's new shoes

Wait, "down with the kings?" That doesn't sound positive...that sounds treacherous!

Oh well...what a weird dude!

No, thats positive. If you are "Down with" something it means that you like it.

As for the shoes, I'm down wit 'em fa sho, apart from the aformentioned lack of ankle support.

I am pretty sure she was joking

i think the "i'm" is implied with the statement, "down with the kings".

i highly doubt that he was calling for the fall of the kings.

low tops? hmm. not sure how i feel about them, the prospects of him having a turned ankle soon sucks.

I find it very odd that he's wearing low tops in the nba...that's weird.

My ankles ache just looking at them.

Incidentally, Ron stepped on someone's foot yesterday and tweaked his ankle, after that he was limping even more.

Lot of people wear low tops, or lowish tops, in the NBA. I seem to recall reading that high tops actually provide relatively little support without additional bracing -- just not nearly enough strength that high in the shoe to stop hundreds of pounds of pressure. On the other hand, they do apparently work as "sensors" for your body as you subconsciously feel the pressure against the shoe as the ankle starts to roll.

The shoes are 'Chiefglider' by 'K1X'. K1X is the German company which deals goods on basketball, such as uniform, shoes, ball, pant, and bag. I heard that Artest is the first player who has a contract with K1X.

However, the shoes are REALLY good. I've been played basketball for 12 years, and that shoes are excellent for me. They seem not to protect ankle, but they DO. I sprained my ankles so many times on so many shoes, thus I hate low-cut shoes. But I believe this shoes. They're one of the most comportable shoes that I used. Fitting is just AWESOME.

Ah, I am not relevant with that company. I'm a just 'satisfied' customer. :)

ps : I wanted to post the link which reviews Chiefglider, but I didn't find yet. :(

I sprained my ankle in lowtops hightops and all sorts of shoes. What matters if they are snug fit. But anyhow those shoes are awesome lol. Atleast he's trying to give a good message that he'll play hard for us.

Bibby wears low tops to. He said that he's just more comfortable wearing them since he's been doing it since high school.

Very nice, I wonder if they'll be selling them anywhere.

Well Kix usually advertise shoes on SLAM magazine... I'm thinking this was just a custom airbrush...but if Kix needs a couple bucks, they'll be calling Artest to make that deal. ;)
