He would also be a nice fit! slasher, energy guy, plays defense, dunk on people, good locker room guy. He just needs to work on his 3pt shooting.

Yet with his weak 3 point shooting he doesn't address what we need on the floor the most and that's a 3pt shooter to spread the defense. He's shot around .25% for his career... Solid player but really not someone that we need right now

We don't need a slasher at the 2, we need a shooter. And Ronnie Brewer's not it. I like him, he just doesn't fit on this team

Tyreke doesn't have to guard PG's, he can guard the 2 spot also. We also have Donte who has shown he can defend the great scorers in this league and I suspect he'll improve on last years effort coming into this season. That's my view on it, a good shooter who can defend is the best of all worlds to me and that's what we should target if we're gonna grab a FA. I don't discount Brewer as a good player though that we should target if our situation was slightly different
