Ron Artest!

I know, sorry to seem a bit defensive on Ron's side, but all I was trying to say was that injuries are a part of the games, and I don't understand why people were taking that and running with the 'Oh, here we go, the 'real' Ron has showed up at last'. Ron has been pretty much a saint since he's been here, and I think that a lot of people were looking and waiting for something to throw up the red flag.

The red flag has been thrown all season, one game is irrelevant. And while a certain segment of the baord may have completely forgotten about Ron's talent, the REAL red flag has nothing to do with his abilities on court at all. Its the havoc he causes off court.

In any case, if he wants to score 39 every night then he could end all the tension by actually BECOMING Kobe. We just throw it to him, he scores, he's happy, we're happy. No more worry abotu who's #1 etc., its just Ron. Unfortunately you just saw his career game, and he's not going to score 39, 30, or likely even 25 on a regular basis.

Maybe he was just showcasing himself because he wants to play for the Knicks. Imagine how much is Isiah salivating over Artest right now.

As a matter of fact, during the half time show he was asked about his feelings regarding the Knicks. He did say he had always wanted to play for them.
