Depends what we can get :p

Good game by Ron after two really bad ones....Maybe he's over his little tantrum or whatever that was.

Cant really complain about a 39 point, 5 steal game though! :)

I don't think there ever was the problem between Artest and Bibby that the media was trying to stir up.

I liked what I saw from him tonight and I hope he keeps it up. At least on Thursday!

:D

Isiah Thomas' postgame interview: nothing but praises for Ron.

Well-deserved, too. Great job tonight Ron! :D

Still want to trade him? :D
as of now yes.. but lets see if he can do this consistently.. the last 3 games he scored 0 points in one, 5 in the other and 10 in the most recent.. its all about consistency in the NBA... a lot of players can score a lot of points on any given night, but you must have repeat performances!

kings fans are too up and down on the players.. one day they want to trade a player for whoever, and the next day fans are in love with the same player they were bashing.

maybe the whole time we didn't see what the real problem was with Ron. We thought he wanted the team on his shoulders, that he was throwing a tantrum, He didn't like Bibby. Actually the WHOLE time it was indeed the BALL. Now maybe his and Bibby's % will climb to the lower to mid 40's. Kevin didn't play much tonight but still shot over 50%.

of course it will stay the old ball is back. Its the ball. Thats my story and i am sticking to it. Old ball and early injuries.

He has one great game where he can't miss and now everyone wants to take back everything from all of the other games. I want to see him play like this a couple more games before I make the decision on whether or not to keep him. If he can continue to put up numbers even close to what he did tonight though, then I say keep him (a no brainer). IF is a big word though.

How about this proposal.

Ron is a certified headcase...We all know that.

Do you all think the change in balls could have completly thrown him out of whack?

Now that the new ball is back, could that be all that he needed?

hmm...

Still want to trade him? :D
Never did in the first place! And to all the people that wanted to get rid of him because they were scared he was being a malcontent...I ask you: How was he being a malcontent? His knees were hurting, and he has back spasms that he's had his whole career. It's not like he was throwing fits and getting ejected, or tearing apart the team being a cancer...Ron wants to be here, and I've been saying this all along! Oh yeah, and Ron Ron and Mike LOVE the leather.:D

forget the 5 games. There is no telling what might happen in the next game
Half way agreed. I think the media blew this up way too much. I would still be down to trade Artest before he blows up, but not for $.50 on the dollar. If we are going to trade him it need to be for real value. This does not mean I believe we can get an onother superstar for him, but we do not need to give him away.

Circa - It's ONE game. Let's see what happens the next five games.
I know, sorry to seem a bit defensive on Ron's side, but all I was trying to say was that injuries are a part of the games, and I don't understand why people were taking that and running with the 'Oh, here we go, the 'real' Ron has showed up at last'. Ron has been pretty much a saint since he's been here, and I think that a lot of people were looking and waiting for something to throw up the red flag.

You have just said what I haven't been able to put into words.

Thank you Circa.

Maybe he was just showcasing himself because he wants to play for the Knicks. Imagine how much is Isiah salivating over Artest right now.

hopefully artest will continue to work inside to open up his game... i'm hoping this doesn't give him the green light in his mind to start jacking up 3's like kobe.... i hope he continues to work the low post and allow the outside 3 pointers to come to him..... if he can allow the game to come to him like he did last night, the kings would be in very good shape...
