All we need to know is

Corliss & Bonzi = Tough

Rest Of Team = Soft
Corliss had 3 fouls in 4 minutes and 3 minutes more and he would have fouled out. Dumb 2 turnovers too.

Wells had 4 bad turnovers and 3 illegal defenses. He is not the most intelligent player either.

Bibby - You're the PG. Your offense doesn't stop just because you passed the ball to someone else. Cut in, screen, do something! Your defense needs works, too.

Peja - Um, I think you missed the memo from... decades ago. An NBA game last FOUR quarters. FOUR. Not three, FOUR.

Bonzi - Got nothing to complain. We're just so sorry.

Brad - I know you can't block, but can you at least get your hands up on the guy's face? You're 7' tall. You just keep your arms up, and that should be intimidating enough for any smaller guys.

Reef - You have been playing solid... today excluding. But you should be better than this, darn it! I know it has been a while since you took charge, but at least demand the ball! Park yourself down low, and DEMAND the ball! Personally I am tired of watching the passive role. I know it feels comfortable, but that is just a road to you setting the record for longest streak without playing a single playoff game. Do you really wanna be remembered as that guy who never got there, FOREVER?

Ok, ok, ok, ok. So, I've been a Kings fans and I haven't had to know much about the lottery but...don't call me stupid but how does the lottery actually work?

Do we just get a number and the lottery teams just randomly get selected?

I know it's a dumb question but...
The team with the worst record gets the most balls in the drawing. I think the worst team gets 250 out of 1000 or something like that. Its goes down from there

Well every of the 14 teams gets certain amount of the balls depending on how much they suck. The # of balls represent the probability of hetting a 1st pick and so on. Basically - not only do You have to suck but also You have to be lucky. Kings and luck - come on now.

Ohh.... I see.

So that's why the 90's Kings never got high draft picks. Worst team, with the worst luck.

Trade either Bibby or Miller to get a contract that expires this year so we can cap room even if we get less talent in return (i.e. Penny Hardaway from New York). Get cap room and focus on the draft. This season is over.

so how did they blow the 14-point lead?
I think the answer to that is actually simple. If all we needed were our starters, teams would only carry 5 players. We have to trade to improve our bench. They scored 4-7 points total. I don't even want to look at the box scores right now, so I am not sure.

I think that Bibby, Bonzi, and Miller had VERY good games. They were agressive and played with heart and desire. The rest, not so much. I was disappointed in SAR and Peja. The bench was awful. I really don't fault the "kids." Rookies and Sophs are generally NOT going to be impact players. There is no excuse for the others.

Petrie MUST makes some trades. There is NO way around it. I have NEVER in all my years as a Kings fan (and there have been many of those) pointed out a single player that I felt should get traded. I DESPISE doing it now, but as much as I hate it, we need to trade Peja. It makes me sad. How I am going to tell my dog? I named him Peja when I got 3 years ago. Sad, sad day:( . He is our best option right now and I do not think that he would stay after this season without a max deal from us and he has not earned it.

I have the opposite opinion now than at the beginning of the season. I thought we had the talent, but not the heart. Now, I think we have the heart (most of the team) but NOT the talent.

The ball is in Petrie's (and Maloof's) court now, as far as I am concerned. We need help. Let's see if he is really as good as I beleive him to be.

Wells has been our best player this year, and Corliss needs more then one chance to prove himself, he has proven himself in the past (6th man award), championship with Detroit, he can ball, RA is stupid for never playing him.

I understand your rationale here, but in our situation I'm not sure that's a good course of action. We've got a crappy team, the fans are on edge, and we're trying to convince the city and residents of Sacramento that we need a new arena. Trading Bibby for Hardaway may just cause people to set the city on fire.

Well that and there aren't really any sure fire players better than what we have on the free agent market next year. Sure theres Big Ben, but he'll be a Piston 4 life.

hence 7-12

Don't get me wrong Wells is doing much better than i thought despite being fairly low IQ player but a team where Wells is Your best player is going to the lottery

Bad off season for free agents AND a bad year for the draft, man the Kings picked the wrong year to suck hard!

Don't forget Vlade, Doug, and Bobby, too! They would not allow us to lose five in a row and four straight at home!
