Rockets @ Kings Game Thread

Mavs needed it and that made it easy for the Kings to get a much needed lin. Combined with results other obviously more retarded teams Kings are back in the hunt for the 3rd worst record this season giving us a realistic chance to pair up Evans with someone else who has similar talent level. Kings are 25-55 with a back to back set to end yet another losing season which was anything but as bad as the previous three.

Kings, Wizards and Warriors have 25 wins which makes that woss to the Clippers so huge. One less win and Kings would have it that much easier to get what we want and what we need. Kings as the other 2 teams still have a chance to get a stupid and inexcusable woss and screw it up. We have to hope that it will be them and not us. Tonight we need the clutch performance in which Tyreke will get his and we will get a lin. Anything else would be beyond retarded at this point.

2 more days and 4th consecutive losing season is over. Suits me pretty good because losing wears me down a bit. I won't watch playoffs just as always. My season finishes the same day Kings finish their. Have no interest watching a "spectacle" in which the winner is known for months.(decided as usual by Mr Stern). Bearing some catastrophic injury to Leborn or "Dickie Bs of then NBA" - it must be Cavs turn.

May 18th is the lottery day. A nice early birthday present for me would be nice if we can get one of the top 4 picks. Knowing my luck - we could pick 15th:p. Draft is whenever and by that time hopefully we have made some moves that would give us another pick or so. I don't have high expectations from the FA market and I just hope that we don't do anything stupid. "Say no to MLE!"

Kings will win 30 games next season. I expect it to be the last season with the losing record and hopefully the last one without a PO hunt. Playoffs aren't realistic despite the fact that some people will go crazy again if we start 4-4 after 0-3 Texas trip to start the season. To get into postseason in the Western conference - you need 50 wins which means you have to win a bunch on the road which means - we won't make it.

Kevin Martin is playing for the first time at ARCO since the trade. While Kevin did not leave a mark like some other players - he was still important enough to acknowledge it which few Kings fans that won't be dressed as chairs know and will do. He was here at the worst time for him and us. A good player, not good enough to matter without any help from others. Lost a lot and was hurt a lot. Wish him well in Houston and hpe he has career game tonight. For all I care - he can go "Wilt" on us as long as kings and evans get what they need

The game was easy to watch as Mavs were too good for us and they didn't care about Evans production so it looked like some sort of mutual agreement. There will be time for payback - soon. For now, this was what we needed and that is all that matters.

Rockets need it as much as we do - in other words - not at all. They doo need a win to get the winning season and they can't do better than 15th pick anyways. We by now should know what is at stake and we should play accordingly. Make sure Evans get his and then go hard for a lin that can be extremely significant and even crucial. Martin deserves a nice hand btw.

I don't mind Rockets too much but I am still upsed that they sucked so bad last time we played so that we ended up with a terrible woss in a awful basketball game. They could be good if Yao comes back and stays healthy which is near impossible.

because that is what happened this season where after a specific win my "we won't make PO" speach was quoted numerous times where people were laughing at it full of confidence but clueless about NBA basketball.

Needless to say - those people are very quiet now with no recollection of those events.

In order for us to make POs - we have to sign a big name and change half of our roster. Not very realistic.
 
Not sure if Martin will play or if he does, how he'll do. Kevin was limited in yesterday's game due to "illness". Either way, I hope Arco gives him a big standing O and for them to show some sort of tribute highlights when he's introduced.
 
I can't even grok people who won't watch the playoffs. I guess I'm an NBA junkie, then: I'm watching every single game that isn't broadcast while I'm actually at work, I'm not handicapped by the need for my team to be in it in order to be interested.
 
I used to care before realizing that it is just like wrestling. After that - I lost my interest and unless Kings are playing - I really could care less.
 
To me it's still legit so it's still fun to watch. Best team usually win (which should be true in almost every competition) but not always and upset happens.

Lakers will be upset by the Thunder or Portland and I will be there to witness it.

Martin's illness is food poisoning. Apparently he hasn't been able to hold down food for about 32 hours. He will be on Koz's show at 2:30p

I think Beno and Landry will destroy Rockets . Beno because of Kmart (i think they don't like each other) , Landry because he was rocker , but never get a better chance .. There is also Reke , who can stop everyone like a giant monster :) With a help from JT , if he can cool his mind again there is no reason to lose this game.
 
Because if they both play at same time on same team they were very incooperable - no hustle , no offensive creavity - nothing.

I don't know how you managed to insult basketball and wrestling at the same time, but you have succeeded. You are quite talented indeed.
