Remaining 22 Games What is your prediction?

Are you running XP-Pro ???
Did you install Service Pack 2 ???

If the answers to the above are both yes, I'd do some research into SP-2.

I uninstalled SP-2 a few months ago and my system has been working FINE ever since.

I run Windows 98. I delete cookies and temporary files routinely. Since I started using McAfee and Adware, I have had very few problems with viruses and Trojans. I also don't read e-mail jokes and useless crap, unless it's on KingsFans.com. My Yahoo/SBC DSL system uses Norton AVS, so I think that I am getting double coverage on some processes. I think Brickie is right about the fancy pop-ups on NBA.com

Thanks everybody.

I have been having problems with NBA.com, and only NBA.come, for several weeks. It actually dumps me off the Internet.
Here are a couple things to try.

Make sure that ActiveX controls are enabled:

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Click Tools.
  3. Select Internet Options.
  4. Click Security Tab.
  5. Click on Customer Level.
  6. Under ActiveX Controls and plug-ins, enable each option that does not say to run controls not marked as safe.
  7. The sixth security setting for Cookies should also be enabled.
  8. Click OK.

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Click Tools
  3. Click Internet Options
  4. Select the Security Tab
  5. Click Trusted Sites
  6. Click the Sites Button
  7. Type in http://www.nba.com under Add this Website to the Zone
  8. Click Add Button
  9. Click Ok Button
  10. Click Ok Again
  11. Close Internet Explorer
  12. Re-open Internet Explorer
Download and install the latest Visual Basic Script (VBScripting) from the Microsoft Developer Network:

  1. For Windows 9x, NT and ME:
  2. For Windows 2000 and XP:
  3. Close all browser windows.
  4. Launch a new browser to enable the new VBScripting.
That is just a few suggestions that I can think of. If it does not work sorry. Try doing an update to your IE or doing a repair to IE.

NBA.com and ESPN.com routinely cause me problems. I never have any trouble with CBS.sportsline.com. I always use their site to "watch" King's games. I also like their presentation with the shot chart and it's statistically pretty accurate.

So whats everybodies prediction for the last 9?

that the Kings will win the ones the win. and lose the ones the lose. oh, and they'll only win the games in which their score is higher than their opponents at the end. ;)

Posted this elsewhere but it seemed to fit here

Actually if the rest of the season goes the way of the season so far the rankings would be

1. San Antonio (64-18)
2. Phoenix (61-21)
3. Seattle (58-24)
4. Dallas (56-26)
5. Kings (50-32)
6. Houston (47-35)
7. Memphis (46-36)
8. Denver (42-40)

Minnesota (40-42)
Lakers (40-42)

Of course we do have 1/4 of the season left (roughly). But generally speaking the season at this point vs. the final standings are usually pretty close.

Although actually I don't think it matters much where the Kings end up at this point. They almost certainly cannot pick up 8.5 games on Phoenix so they will be #4 at best.

This means road series with BOTH Phoenix and San Antonio are probable.

So I don't see them doing very well this year.

yeah im gonna go with you on this one. i really want to play dallas. its like a tradition, we have to play them every year.

If we want to win , we should play the sonics. Sonics don't have any playoff experience like the mavs. Though i hate the mavs, i want a new team for this year.
