Reggie Evans

He rebounds like a madman, and obviously has a bad reputation. But I'd spend the mid-level on him. Would you???

FROM ESPN.COM:

The Nutcracker is almost completely one-dimensional, but he is so good in that dimension that he still has value. Evans led the NBA in RR (rebound rate) for a second straight season, so despite his offensive limitations, he should be a target for a board-starved club such as, say, Minnesota or New Jersey.

Or Sacramento. :)

And I'd definitely sign Evans instead of Songaila.

Not the full MLE, but I'd give him a 3-4 year deal. The guy is so good at rebounding it is unbelievable. He's the best there is. I'd like him to come to Sac and play for us 20 minutes a night. I have a feeling other posters aren't as high on him as I am though...he doesn't block shots and he's kinda short...but I like him anyways.

I don't think we go after him... he's not a post defender, but a great rebounder and hustle player, plays with heart.

I'd rather have one or two of Amundson/Gray/Williams on the roster.

We need a back-up C anyways, and would spend part of the MLE on that.

We don't need anymore tweeners. If we get rid of K9 then he'd be o.k., but we need big men really bad and have some intriguing young guys we need to see if they pan out.

The Nutcracker? That's lame.

His flagrant foul against Kaman notwithstanding, the nickname that Kevin Collabro gave him while he was in Seattle (the Collector) is my favorite nickname for a player.

I would take him if he agreed on a 4 year (team option on the 4th year) 17 mil.

Something in the neighborhood of....

1st year 3mil
2nd year 4mil
3rd year 4.5mil
4th year 5.5mil (team option)
