Refs Dish up another win for Lakers

Anyone see the final 4 secs of overtime on the GS-LAL game?

I can't believe how painstakingly obvious its becoming that the league has to have the Lakers in the Finals.

To be fair... That call on Kobe stepping over the line was bad. But that call at the end was mind-boggling bad... That was like "Are you even conscious?" bad. That was who pays you for this bad.

Because of a call in a reg season game? Wow. Tell me, does LA or their opponent (painstakingly obvious that it'll be Boston...) beat the point spread by a lot in one of the games? I wanna pool some cash for a juicy bet.

Too bad the refs had to end up having an impact on the winner/loser, but the Warriors really lost this in the 3rd quarter when they were up double digits.

That call was as blatant as it can come, it was to ensure that the lakers won this game, no questions about it.

But I wouldnt say that the refs gave this game to the lakers from the beginning, for most part they were trying to keep the game close to make it entertaining. There were curious calls through out the game like the FT call on kobe on a first free throw miss by monta ellis, have never seen that happen on a first FT. The three second call on lamar defensively where maybe, a little bit maybe of his foot could have been on the lane, but he was within arms reach of the defender.

Interestingly, the players were taking it in the right way and I was really happy to see them play that way. The call on Kobe for FT violation, Baron was shaking his head as if to say bad call, the call on lamar on defensive three, the GS player there was also putting up his hand in disbelief. Many of the stupid calls players on both teams were laughing it off irrespective of who got the call. Fisher on the last call also said that he expected a no call and not an offensive foul. There was an offensive foul on stephen jackson where he pushed farmar on a screen and farmar was called for the foul, next time around stephen had a decent screen and I didnt see an offensive foul but was called for one.

It was all around sloppy refereeing like the three blind mice, but I am sure it wasnt a case of three blind mice, they really knew what they were doing, they are just setting up the pace for the playoff series. TNT and ABC can show replays of all these 4 games and say how interesting this series is going to be and how balanced these guys were during the regular season. However they would add that the X-factor would be that bynum and gasol did not play in the last two games and blah blah blah. For the common fan that should be intriguing enough I suppose

Fisher clipped Baron's foot while backpedaling. That's why he went down, it wasn't Monta's fault. But Fisher didn't go down all of his own, flopper or not. And they do call fouls on players causing others to stumble, even late in games.

Don Nelson is a moron who played 6 guys in the back to back game and Warriors run out of gass at the end.

Bob Delaney is a piece of **** referee unless You are lakers because then he is awesome

they lost it in the 3rd but that last call in ot was dead wrong...

Yup, I'd have to agree with the 'lost in the 3rd'. Sure, refs make bad calls in alot of games, I've even seen some pretty blatant calls AGAINST the Lakers too, over the years. But we as Kings fans know, when you have a big lead, you dont just settle in and get comfy with a big lead in the playoffs...we know this all too well!

they had the lead and just laid an egg in the 3rd... they shot way to many unnecessasary 3's... missed a lot of layups...

that was the biggest BS call ever. Just handed the lakers the victory on a silver platter. I can't wait til the lakers are one and done in the playoffs then I can have my joy

I don't think the refs gave the Lakers the sympathy vote, although I think that them having to play the Warriors in back to back home and away games, they just wanted to even out the odds and let both teams win.
