Random thoughts about the Kings

martin-garcia-artest-bibby-salmons - don't need em all.

If the Kings would trade any 2 or 3 of these and land a B+ level big man (which IMO Hawes will never be) they'd be more competitive this year, still not make the playoffs and get a good pick next year.

One of these:

Okafor
Odom
Gasol
Kirilenko

Point is this five pack should have been split up long ago. Douby-Douby-doo too. Geez.

Good call on the 19-year old Hawes, I mean he's played about 180 minutes in his professional career....certainly that's long enough to make a judgement call on a seasoned veteran like Hawes.

And then you top it off by saying we should get:
Okafor - Bobcats will not trade him
Odom - contract does not help us
Gasol - no thanks...we have plenty of bigs who can't lead us to the playoffs
AK47 - pipedream...huge contract....we have nothing utah wants....

trade 2 or 3 WTF. 3 of them are our starters. Even if you trade just 2. who in the hell comes off the bench? So lets say you just trade 1. who comes off the bench in case of injury or suspension. I HAVE NEVER SEEN COMPLAINING ABOUT HAVING TOO MUCH DEPTH UNTIL NOW.

just wondering if anybody has heard if there is still a curfew?

Is this really a big concern to anyone? Well, I guess it is to some, so here's the deal. Theus said it's been no problem at all so far. The players have not gripped about it one bit. It's only enforced ON THE ROAD (obviously) and coach said midnight time rule is relatively flexible. He said if a player shows up at 1 am back at hotel it's not going to be an issue per se as long as it's not a bad habit.

Ran into Kevin at Fridays last night

My wife and I bought him a round of drinks, he said "thank you very much". we asked him if he will be practicing on sunday at the open practice which he is. He signed a drink shaker thinking it was for Fridays, then found out it was for my wife and I....asked to see it again and what out names were.....Dude is very classy. just thought I would share!

koz and kingsfans.com

this maybe another larrylegend random thought but,

did anyone here koz last night talking about kingsfans.com?

Who is dressing these people anyway?

Okay, I admit that I am just trying to have a little fun following a very ugly performance. Having said that, I really do wonder who is dressing Reggie Theus and Kayte Christiansen because they are opposite ends of the contin ium.

Reggie's shows up every game with a suit or a sports coat that I do not think I have seen him wear before and they all look fantastic. Seriously, this guy should be running adds for the Men's Wear house or something. Does he own all these suits? Does he make all the decisions on what he will be wearing each game? They guy has set a new standard for looking great while coaching. The standard was previously set by Pat Riley. It is my opinion that Don Nelson has been the standard for being a poorly dressed coach in the NBA.

On the other hand, what the heck is going on with Kayte Chistiansen's wardrobe of late? The outfits she has been wearing having be getting progressively worse in the past month and the dress she was wearing last night was just ridiculous. Who's choosing her outfits? She is a great looking woman. The wardrobe people have a great face and great body to work with. How can they mess-up that bad?

It's interesting if you know what he's talking about - and as it turns out, I do. :p

There is at least one person who broadcasts on 1140 who is an at least occasional visitor to our board. It's no big but Koz might have been kidding him over it...

Sorry. We don't endorse retail sites or things like craigslist, etc. ebay will probably be your best bet.

If you don't want ones which are so old that they're blue, you could just get a custom one done. Costs about $50, delivered, from the kings.com online shop.

From what I was told several months ago, the black jerseys are still a possibility.

:)
