Random mediocre to God-awful PAST Kings players thread

Dennis Hopson, Steve Scheffler

Randy Breur for his horrible haircut.

I would say Causwell, but I know he likes to hang out on this board...so I'll spare his feelings.

Leslie F. Jespen
hahaha!! I was going to bring him up as well...Les isnt more Jepsen! Hey, with that being said, I'll add Jim Les, Randy Breuer(probably the whitest guy this side of Paul Mokeski), and Randy Allen. I could go on and on and bring up guys like Brooke Steppe, Martin Nessley, Conner Henry, and so on and so on...there's TOO many from the 'glory' years of our beloved team.:D

This so hilarious why not a starting 5:eek::

F - Lloyd 'Swee'pea Daniels
F - Kurt Rambis
C - Pervis 'Never Nervous' Ellison
G - Mahmod Abdul-rauf
G - Brook Steppe

With Ben Gillery already taken (IMHO the absolute WORST player ever to suit up as a King), why not someone colorful: Dwaye Schintzius, aka The Big Mullet.

Joe Klein and another vote for Duane Causwell.

Can we mention coaches? Bill Russell, Jerry, Muss, Dick, Garry St. Geme, etc, etc.

Edit: just thought of Vinnie Del Negro.

How about the anti-Jordan? You know, the guy who sucked in the NBA but found some success playing pro baseball?

Ladies and gentlemen - Mark Hendrickson

Is Vitaly Potapenko officially an ex-King yet?

Hard to believe that he could make this list after being drafted ahead of Kobe Bryant, Peja, Steve Nash and J. O'Neal

He may have 3 championship rings, but Bill Wennington's last season was as a backup with the Kings, playing in 8 games and averaging 2 points.

But I'll always remember him as the guy that brought the thunder during the layup line. . .

Ah...I forgot about Swee'pea! The NY "playground legend"

I actually met 'ol Swee'pea at The Rage nightclub (now called Bar Code) on Arden Way just a few days after he arrived in town. He came in by himself looking kind of lost and in a flash he was gone from Sac never to appear again.

Former King Johnny Rogers, who was pretty 'blah' for us for 23 games in 86-87, but didnt know he went on to have VERY good success over in Greece. Dude was a leader for Panathinaikos who he won a championship with, and played for like 5 others with them. Not too shabby. Actually met him when I was a kid at the old Arco I at a game. Nice guy.

No mention of Billy Owens yet. I find it amusing that he ended up teamed up with the player he was traded for. Kind of like Rodman ending up with Sean Elliott in San Antonio.

I vaguely remember he had some sort of bullet lodged in his head, or something like that....is that right?
