Radmanovic told the Lakers he sustainted the injury in Park City, Utah when he slipped on a patch of ice and fell.
An MRI exam and CT scan conducted Monday in Los Angeles confirmed the injury as a separated shoulder. Radmanovic was slowed by a hand injury early in the season and is averaging 6.9 points and 3.4 rebounds a game.

"It's the latest incident in a season-long series of injuries," Lakers spokesman John Black told the Los Angeles Times. "Guys are going to have to step up and fill the void." Radmanovic's absence will mean a significant increase in playing time for forward Brian Cook. Forward Luke Walton is still sidelined by a sprained ankle and is not expected to play Wednesday against Portland. Center Kwame Brown, also sidelined by a sprained ankle, is out another two to four weeks.

Or rather that's what his excuse was. There was a longer version of that article mentioning that various snow recreations like snowboarding, snowmobiling etc. is barred by many contracts, and so if you are Vladimir, and you have signed a massive contract which you aren't even remotely earning right now, maybe best to just call it a random slip and fall.

For what is worth Brick - he is actually perfectly capable of sliping and breaking something. Just that kind of talent;)

To add insult to injury, word is he slipped on a patch of ice on Vlade Divac's driveway.

Just a little off topic, why was Darko Milicic loudly booed when he was playing in Detroit?Because coach never gave him a chance and he left?

They were praising him on Detroit broadcast. They even did a poll and 75% of Detroit fans thought that he could be an all star in future.

Fans will always boo opposing players regardless of if they have played there before or not.
