Quincy Douby another Gerald Wallace?

he should go to one of the European leagues ... not to the best ones of course. I think that Germany would be nice .. Ok, I am German but I have different reasons - weak competition, everybody speaks English, no pressure - sounds like the best environment for him to perform. He is one of those players who can be a superstar in weak leagues but a failure in great/decent ones.

they should have exposed christie.... he was old and was making way too much money. there is no way that the bobcats would take him. but thats not what happened.... oh well.... and douby sucks.... period.
It would have been a "diss" to expose any of the core members of that team...

and while I concur with Brick's agreements, the truth was that GW wasn't living up to his potential in Sacramento from the little that I saw. I don't know if it was his fault, or if it was just the situation or whatever; but I don't see how he would have been able to blow up in Sac-town the way he has in Charlotte based on the situation at the time. Hindsight is 20/20.

At the time the comments about GW were that he didn't have a good work ethic. Maybe what happened woke him up. Maybe it would never have happened here.

he didnt get minutes because he played behind peja and hedo.... if the team had kept wallace he wouldve gotten minutes that very next season because christie was traded that season and then mobley wasnt resigned...

and douby sucks..... just wanted to keep the thread on topic.....

Raptors Sign Douby

http://www.nba.com/raptors/news/raptors_douby_041309.html
The Toronto Raptors announced Monday they have signed guard Quincy Douby for the remainder of this season and the 2009-10 season. Per team policy, financial details were not disclosed. The Raptors signed the free agent to consecutive 10-day contracts March 24 and April 2.

Douby has appeared in six games for Toronto, averaging 5.2 points and 1.7 assists in 10.7 minutes. He has averaged 8.0 points, 2.0 assists and 14.0 minutes in the past three games, shooting .667 (10-15) from the field and three-point range (4-6) during that span.
???? Strange move if you ask me.
