It's a catch-22 for the Lakers to deal with. Kobe, as much as I hate him, is the best player in the league. As far as individual ability goes, he really is the next Michael Jordan. The thing is, since he is so good, he thinks he can win the game without the team. If he trys to do it all by himself (and I think I recall seeing the stats on TNT that Kobe had zero assists by the third quarter), it can't be done. But as David Aldridge on TNT pointed out, when Kobe does pass the ball, the other Lakers don't make their shots. Like I said in another thread, Kobe misses Shaq, as much as Kobe doesn't want to admit it.
