Salmons + Garcia + Douby + Bobby Brown
for
Lafrentz + Bayless

Portland may be high on Bayless, but they have an immediate need right now at the 2 position with defensive ability.
Salmons and Garcia are both needs for them, moreso than Bayless.
Bayless may have the most upside out of their PGs, but Blake and Rodriguez are pretty decent.

In the upcoming draft, we will have a top 5 pick. With Rubio not declaring, I hope we don't reach and take a player by need, but rather BPA.
Harden and Thabeet would both fill needs after this trade.

I know a lot of us are hesitant on letting Garcia go (perfect 6th man), but Bayless is worth it.

This may not be the best scenario, but are there any alternatives that can make this happen? or?

I think people are over estimating bayless. Sometimes I laugh when people wanna give up so much for a guy that's currently not even playing. Why is it that when a player is rotting the bench people always think they're the next superstar? There's a freakin reason why he's rotting that bench because maybe he ain't all that good! Has that ever crossed your mind?

I love to have Jerryd on this team – you have no idea how much I want to see this kid play in our uniform. He seems like he’s going to be a quick learner and really good player but I’m not willing to give up half our team for him. I do think if we want to get him we better do it now while he’s not getting a chance to play.

This team needs Cisco. That’s my opinion. He’s a leader and plays great coming off the bench. He provides this energy and we have a great duo in him and Kevin on the floor.

I don’t mind sending John & Quincy or even John & Bobby Brown. But I wouldn’t give them John, Quincy, Bobby B and Cisco. That’s too much.

Or maybe Portland has such a vast amount of young talent it's hard for him to get minutes as a rookie. It's not so much the fact what we the fans think but I believe Portland has shown it has no plans of parting with Bayless anytime soon which is why many of us shoot down anything involving him.
