So Ordinary That It's Truly Quite Extraordinary

I'll be in the Crown Downtown group/area. Sections 228-229 rows M-J or so, depending on exact seat locations. I'd like to say "howdy" if we get the chance.
I'll call about my tickets this week and if I can't get them for that game can I get into Crown Downtown group?

These games happen but my main concern is this team getting up for teams like the warriors and flat out not caring (until it’s too late) when we play the Blazers and Rockets of the world. They need to learn from today and not let this effort be the norm.

Deep reserves came in and immediately showed more quickness. As was said probably on page 1, slow and sloppy. No legs.
Sabonis confirms: "We definitely didn't have our best game taking care of the ball, and that led to a lot of extra shots for them. Overall, for whatever reason, I just feel like our legs weren't there today, and kudos to them, they came out and competed. We didn't even have the energy to match that."

you mean stay the norm as they did this all last year too. I think some of this is a reflection of Fox.
Or maybe we just didn't care about a preseason game that was scheduled 36 hours after a previous preseason game (where our starters all played like 30 minutes, and played really well), after two weeks of intense camp. That happens, and it isn't some indictment of the star players. Its just reality that it is hard to get up for games that literally don't mean anything, especially when you played well in the previous game that didn't mean anything.

We can all be sanctimonious about it, but we wouldn't be the first team to phone in a preseason game, especially one that is coming on the heels of a preseason game where all of our main guys played hard and played a lot of minutes. And yes, I know that "not getting up" for certain opponents was a problem last year, and may well be a problem again this regular season, but I am not going to conclude that based on the result of one preseason game.

I really hope we aren't a "good on paper" team which stinks it up all year. Hopefully we fix this because Fox and Sabonis look almost uncomfortable out there. I know it's pre-season but last couple years in pre-season we were beating teams by 30. Now we are losing close games, and a blowout tonight.
The first month or so could be up and down so don't be surprised. They could always hit the ground running but the Kings are adding a new 1st/2nd option offensively who hasn't been much defensively for awhile now and one of the only real additions defensively was a rookie who is out until January. There shouldn't be any reasons this is a huge extended process but finding an identity, especially on defense, could take some time. This is where DeRozans consistency as an iso option could really help though. Sometimes the best defense is a good, and controlled offense. So far it looks like the Kings could be a lot better at staving off runs by getting points back on the other end rather than trying to shoot their way out of a hole from 3 on predictable DHO plays.

Wow, time for another season.
I have never been so out of the basketball game as I am right now. Knowing nothing of what’s gone on this off season with the kings or any other team, where do the kings fall in the NBA ranking? Not a homer take on the rankings but legit, how do we stack up in the west and the rest of the NBA?

I think in most peoples eyes the Kings being play in candidates this season would be disappointment. A team like this should at least be fighting for those 4-6 slots. If it doesn't work, that means Fox/Domas isn't enough most likely. I do personally feel even if a rough adjustment, you need at least 1 full season to see this play out.
