Reminder to bigdog5142 (whom I've already convinced to stay in the game) and anyone else who has missed games:

Even if you are down in the standings right now, it's a long season and you only have to be in the top 16 or so (depending on actual points accumulated) to make it into the playoffs where all points start over. In addition, there's always the coveted "Most Points in One Game" award at stake. quickdog was the recipient last year...

Don't give up. Everyone will miss at least 1 game. (I hope). I've only played 10 of 13 games this year and still manage to be only 12 points behind the leader. Just keep playing and you will keep scoring points.

By the way, I plan on keeping that most points in one game thing so no one else better score more then 12 in one game. :p

And, apropos of nothing, I'd just like to go on record as saying that I miss the ":|" smiley; I find it so hard to express my emotions without it...
 
It's the top 16 scores, which means we might actually have a few more than 16, depending on how many people have the same score.

It's just December, S£im. Isn't it a tad early to be thinking about the playoffs???

The sad thing is the fact that I'm in the top 10 despite missing 3 entire games. Just think- even 3 games with 3 pointis would give me another 9 points giving me 74 rather than 65. Arg :(
 
It's been an interesting year, prediction gamewise... It seems the better the team does, the lower the scores. I think it's because when all the players are playing well, it's almost impossible to pick one who will step above the others on any given night!

That's why I tell people not to give up if they've missed a game or two...
