And Perry dropped his own deuce right on top when he blew money on Schroder. If he wanted to move Monk? Give him all those minutes and see if someone bites. Instead he tried to return to late lotto mediocrity.
Imagine putting up a cumulative .199 WS/48 over a four+ year span in Sacramento and being called a "negative asset" by somebody with two first names.
How is that Schroeder signing working out?
Perry’s solid work in the draft is being undone with his signings and potentially lack of moves at deadline.
They get paid off clicks and engagement. They have to say things like this and are probably being instructed to by who’s above them which is why we can’t take everything they say as fact.Sac media, for some reason, has bought into the national narrative that Domas actually hurts his teams on the floor despite pretty much every statistic alive+my 2 eyes, says otherwise.
He's never been a perfect player, but he's firmly a top 15-20 guy when healthy and has been his entire Sac tenure.
IMO Dennis and Derozan can be moved. Somebody will give something. I’d take a bag of chips. But they can help a contending team with depthHe’s under parameters for the moves, not the draft.
He’s can’t change the market for players he didn’t bring sans Schroeder. For Schroeder team was intent on competing, and there wasn’t much else in the PG market which they thought the needed position
Nique/Max/Cardwell out of the draft took some skill
We’ll see.
None of the rookies look like rotation player on any decent team imo so far and they are all older rookies , if they were producing what they are at 18-20 sure but not at 23/24. Perry has been horrific. All three to me look like Euroleague rotation players so far.How is that Schroeder signing working out?

Interesting point from Deuce in the postgame show. He wondered why the kings would fly two guys on two way contracts to Boston after playing last night in Austin. Interesting timing for sure

Nah.. that was for last year, where Hornets missed the playoffs and kept their pick.Question - if the Hornets end up making the playoffs, do we get their 1st round pick this year?
The way I understood it, is that the pick is lottery protected, but if they make it out of the lottery we get the 1st round pick and if not, it turns into 2 second round picks.
Is that correct?
Looks like Deuce was onto something. Makes sense now that we have open roster spots after the trade.Haha, prepare for disappointment.
Yeh we have their second this year and next
Timberwolves have been calling. Dillingham is yet another undersized point guard.
Good question. Bigger than Muggsy Bogues. What is the cutoff for a point guard to be considered normal size?
Well, if we look at players who are listed at PG (by BBRef) and have 3.0 assists or more per game this season, we have a total of 39 players. Seems like a decent list to look at.What is the cutoff for a point guard to be considered normal size?
It's because they were all fed the story that Domas got Brown fired. They turned on him thereabouts.Sac media, for some reason, has bought into the national narrative that Domas actually hurts his teams on the floor despite pretty much every statistic alive+my 2 eyes, says otherwise.

Nice. What about standing reach?Well, if we look at players who are listed at PG (by BBRef) and have 3.0 assists or more per game this season, we have a total of 39 players. Seems like a decent list to look at.
Among these guys, based on BBRef listings (these are rounded to the nearest inch, no half-inches listed), the median height is 6'3", and the mean height is 6'3.25". Dillingham lists at 6'2". On that list, 11 players are shorter than 6'2", 22 players are taller than 6'2", and 6 players are listed at exactly 6'2". (Dillingham is not on that list because he does not average 3 assists.)
If we look at weight, it's even more stark. Dillingham is listed at 175 pounds, while the median player on that list is at 190 pounds (mean 194 pounds). Only one player is listed at 165, and another is tied with Dillingham at 175. 37 of 39 players are heavier than Dillingham. The average player on that list carries 2.58 pounds per inch of height, so Dillingham comes out 15 pounds lighter than the expected weight for his height (should be 190).
Dillingham is definitely an undersized PG.
I’d take a swing on Rob Dillingham. Might not play winning basketball but still only 21 years old and was the 2nd leading scorer on that Kentucky team and included Reed SheppardTimberwolves have been calling. Dillingham is yet another undersized point guard.

If they wanted Monk (apparently they did) what else do we have to take back to make salary on him work? And would they give us a draft pick for our trouble since most of the league seems to have written Dillingham off?I’d take a swing on Rob Dillingham.
