Potential Free Agent/Trade/Sign Tracker, '25-'26 Season

If Kings go full Kangz and screw up Ellis remaining a King, that will 100% be the final straw with this organization for me dating back to family season tickets from the very first season. That will end it for me personally.

He’ll get minuets but how many are available when he’s the backup SG he should be getting 30mpg but he won’t come close to that
Well this was the depth chart you wrote -
Schroeder/russ/carter
Lavine/monk/ellis
DDR/Nique
Keegan/Eubanks
Sabonis/max

Even if you assume Carter and Nique don't play. Where to the minutes come?
Schroder (28) Russ (20)
LaVine (24) Monk (24)
DDR (20) LaVine (9) Keon (15)
Keegan (34) DDR (14)
Sabonis (34) Eubanks (14)

This would be a disaster but it's the closest thing I can find where all the starters get their mins and Keon plays. An absolute disaster in terms of size and defense.

There's no legit path to Russ being on this roster without at least 1 of Demar, Monk, LaVine getting shipped out.

Yeah, this unfortunately looks like the path we're headed down. Perry and Vivek seem committed to securing that #9 seed at the expense of our future. We'd be all but guaranteed to have the worst defense in the league so even the 9 seed might be too optimistic.

Not borderline. And 41 wins is not happening unless one the younger guys breaks out in a big and unexpected way. Picking up Westbroke will further lessen chances of that.
Right, also, it would neutralize both Domas and Keegan's effectiveness. Keegan might set his sights on greener pastures elsewhere after this season. I wouldn't blame him.

Last year 32 wins would've gotten the Kings about 8th pick in the draft give er take - who knows - they should really go the NFL route with the draft instead of ping-pong balls.

Ellis’s agent is also Schroder’s agent, Keegan’s agent, and Doug McDermott’s agent. Fairly certain he’s more than happy to work with Sacramento’s front office.
Why I said if nothing changes. And if I’m Ellis and my agent conspired to bury me on the bench prior to unrestricted free agency I would likely fire him.

Yeah, same. This is starting to look like a worst-case scenario for Ellis. Monk was offered to GS already and Perry probably wants Westbrook as a backup PG so neither of those guys should block Keon Ellis if all of the other dominoes fall as intended, but there's still the Zach LaVine problem and we don't know yet if Perry is leaning toward re-signing LaVine or not. I would assume not but I get the impression Scott Perry was brought in specifically to do what Vivek wants and LaVine seems to be the type of player he flips out over.

Keon Ellis and Nique Clifford would make for a terrific SG rotation if Zach somehow disappears from the roster and I'd like to see Devin Carter get minutes at backup PG, not a one-year rental like Westbrook. If we end up seeing only spot minutes for Ellis and Clifford plays at SF or not at all it wouldn't surprise me. Those are typical Kings moves. But I would be very disappointed.
