I think 2-3 is fair depending on the quality of the picks. DeRozans probably worth a mid-late 1st.

Honestly it probably shouldn’t take many because the Rockets have a pretty full roster at this point.

I think two or three as well we just have to hope KD gets traded to Minnesota or Miami. Houston would want derozan over someone like Trae Young at that point I’m struggling to find another scooter that would be available obviously would trade Lavine for the pick as well but his contract would get in the way

I haven’t seen any discussion on the content of that Stiles video, pardon me if I missed it. The kings have talked with the Heat about a trade but it didn’t include Deebo. Who did it include? The source said any deal the Kings do will likely happen in free agency not during the draft. Is that player Sabonis? Straight trade for players or future draft capital? Lavine? Is Deebo staying? A lot of unanswered questions and sounds like we will have to be patient.

The unsaid part is important. My guess is Sabonis as his name has been mentioned in multiple rumors. Really don't see Miami having any need for LaVine or Monk.

And I don’t know who the Heat have that Perry would want if he is true to his defense first philosophy. Jovic and Ware are offense first players. So the you are just taking future picks.

Making an all nba team (twice) is different than making an all star team. Would you agree that indicates a level of separation in talent and impact?

But perhaps you’re right about LaVine. Maybe it has been the situation more than his talent. The reason I slate LaVine as a third banana is because of his decision making and playmaking. He’s a talented scorer, yes, but if you’re going to be a focal point of a team that is competing in the playoffs, you need to be able to pick apart a defense when/if they adjust. I’m not asking him to be Luka Doncic out there with his passing, but I don’t think he makes the best reads and decisions leading to some inefficient team plays and turnovers.

If you’re a star guard or wing in this league, I’d hope you’re at least posting a 2.0+ AST:TO ratio, and if you’re not, you better be making up for it on the defensive end. LaVine has yet to have one season with a AST:TO ratio of 2.0 or greater in his 11 year career and we both know he’s not the type of player that’s making up for it on the defensive end either.

And his rebounding for someone of his size and athleticism is sh**. Very low on the toughness meter. I look forward to him being traded.

And a Monk/Herro backcourt leaves a lot to be desired defensively and size wise (but maybe they view him as a 6th man making that less important). So I’m wondering if the talks have been more around one of our younger guys.

Come to think of it, they may like the idea of starting Ellis and/or Carter next to Herro so maybe that’s who MIA is calling about.

There's just so many outcomes for Devin where he's one of the 5 most important players for a finals team;

Just look at this finals. Caruso, Wallace, nembhard, Dort. Its pretty much a requirement to have a Devin archetype now. And he of course has a chance to have a higher offensive ceiling than those guys

Yeah, that and it always comes back to his pick and roll potential he showed in college. Devin can go right or left off pick and roll. Fans won't notice it but if a coach/GM doesn't realize the potential in that alone they don't know what they're watching.
