Potential Free Agent/Trade/Sign Tracker, '25-'26 Season

My take at this point… unless the Kings manage to trade for say Tari Eason or even Peyton Watson, just leave it alone for now and get a top tier draft prospect. The rest of this mess will shed off soon enough.

As dumb as this sounds, it honestly makes sense without control of your team picks. Harden/Kawhi/Zu should be enough to be a playoff contender, retool around them and give it a shot for the next 2 years.

The team won 50 games last year and the Klaw missed plenty of time. Lavine replaces Norman Powell the best although he doesn’t get to the line as much. Bobby Marks mentioned that fit on the Drive Guys today

Am I hearing this right? On 1140, they are advocating we trade Keon for a 2nd rounder? wtf. I am done with Scott Perry if this happens.

That’s not what I heard. The consensus appears to be that Keon would have second round value league wide. We don’t know if that is true and if it is how many seconds.

Straight up for John Collins and their 2030 FRP. Who says no?

I might be more interested in getting off LaVine. Grab their expirings+2030 FRP? And while i hate the idea of trading Keon, you can include him as the sweetner in this deal. We seem pretty dead set on it anyway. Cleaning 50 mil+future draft capital would be a "worthy" haul for losing Keon in a trade

The Bucks package just doesn't interest me. We're not really gaining anything, just taking on the "moveable pieces" package.

The Bucks package is really really dependent on whatever we’d get back from a third team for Portis or Kuzma haha

You're angry at people who haven't done "the thing", based on idle speculation from a black-pilling third party that doesn't have any real insight into whether they would do "the thing" or not.
I’m sorry have you not been around here for all of viveks tenure? Have you noticed they don’t play Keon? Did you notice they did take the qualifying offer?

It looks like we could do LaVine for Collins/Bogdan/Dunn, but we'd have to cut two guys. I guess we wouldn't really miss McDermott and Saric or Eubanks, but dropping contracts like that would really hamper our flexibility in other deals. Those three guys are really the only salary-nudge pieces we have, and if we drop two of them we'd better be damn sure we don't need them. That said, LaVine is the *better* contract to get out from under. Just maybe not the easier.

Russ and Precious should be tradeable by the deadline right?

I think so, but I didn't really consider them salary-nudge pieces. Precious has been playing well enough we might do better trying to consider him in our long-term plans. Russ may actually have value to a contending team so I'm not sure he's a prime throw-in salary piece.

Russ should bet us some seconds from houston they have to be smart enough to know Reed can’t play coke playoffs. He was hunted by Murray last game and Denver doesn’t even have play the hunt game.
