That sucked.

I’m not a big fan of Kenny Thomas, but I have to say this: I think he is doing a lot of things that don’t show up in the box score, doesn’t have any plays called for him and still tries and, in some form, produces. Which is admirable. I just wish he were doing it for another team.

Corliss still got too many minutes.

A while back (while they both played for the Kings), there was discussion that Hedo was going to be a better pro than Peja. Does anyone still think that? Or think that is true?

I’m going out on a limb here, but I think Carmelo, Wade and Bosh are better than Darko.

Every time Miller ‘drives’ I kinda chuckle.

Grant Hill’s ankle robbed him/us of an incredible career.

Martin had a ‘regular’ game for once. I hope that doesn’t happen too often.

When I saw JJ Redick sitting on the bench, I was hoping someone (preferably a Magic assistant coach) would punch him in the face. I don’t know why.

Tomorrow’s game makes this loss uglier.

I have a long-term grudge against Horry. And I secretly wish for his retirement to come soon... he's been a thorn in our side for a long time.

She was referring the 2nd post, not yours. As for your post game thoughts, I'll add one. I would take a punch to the face from Ron Artest for Dwight Howard on the team. Watching a ball go up in the air and KNOWING that it is going to end up in your teams hands is awesome. Watching speed, blocked shots, rebounding just made me realize even more how much this team doesn't have it.

My thoughts

1. Bibby's late game heroics are overrated. He got the rep in 2002 against the lakers and since then has merely had a lot of shots late in the game. He makes some, he misses others. Either way, he's not the clutch or playoff performer a lot of people would like to believe he is.

2. Thomas would be a great backup. He keeps balls alive and knows his role. He's just too short to be a starter. If he were 4in taller he'd be an all star.

3. Corliss doesn't have Webber's hands. In fact, none of the kings have webber's hands. We lose a lot of posessions on dumb mistakes

^The clutch thing is overrated to begin with. Plus you can't (or shouldn't) use the past two games to judge Bibby's 'clutchitude.' Yeah, he makes some and misses some (probably more than he makes) but that can be said of anyone. Jordan had a commercial about this once, if I recall.

Actually, Thomas should start with Miller. Shareef would be a great option for the second team.

Not many people have Webber's hands.

Might be too early to conclusively say about Darko, but he looked merely adequate tonight.

Even on a nght when he sucke, he gets as many blocked shots as our whole team. I'd like to have somebody on our team suck like that.

Some what agree, being the third opinition behind guys such as Peja and Webber took alot of pressure off bibby making his job easier. Now he is the number one guy and he can't do it, nobody on this team is capble of being that guy.

I disagree, lol. The guy is better then he displayed today, i have watched him the whole season, he just seemed tried tonight. And Darko is better then our bigs and is good enough to start for us too.

Theres only 1 player in the NBA that has Webbers hands and thats Webber himself.

Well that was a tough loss. I just hope they keep Ron out until he is 100%. It hurts us now, but it will help in the long run.

This team really lives and dies with the 3 point shots. When they don't shoot the 3 well it seems like they rarely win.

This team is much better when Reef comes in off the bench. In the starting lineup he seems out of place or that he ballhogs when he shouldn't just to get his shots.

This team needs to start playing the defense they said they were going to.

That trade shouldnt have been made...we still have a lousy K-9, Corliss might come off the books this year but he really hasnt done much, and Skinner...well you know. So what good was that trade for us?? ARGH!! Sorry...I'm just venting from the nausiating offense that our team displays on a pretty much nightly basis these days. A .500 record is ok, I guess, during this 'transition' of sorts...but I cant stop myself from playing around with hypotheticals after each loss. Oh well...

Webber's contract is an albatross and it was the right move to be made at that time, but those options then: keeping him or trading him for those pieces, were both pretty crummy ones.

Afterall, hindsight is 20/20...right? I thought trading Chris for 'pieces' for the sake of getting rid of his contract was bad then, and well...now...Chris really needed to retire as a King...and I digress.

postgame thoughts. this game sucked! nice numbers by miller. but why are we giving him the ball at the 3-point line. he doesnt know how to put the ball on the floor. he's worse than peja. bricklayer said it pretty darn well....."hit a jumper to create room inside and lure out the big men. aside from that didnt give us anything in the 1st half that a normal big man would give you".

trade deadline please hurry and come. it may be the only thing that'll save our season once again.

This team got my hopes up when they were playing good defense at the beginning of the season. Now they are playing Adelman defense. Perhaps that was going to happen anyway, since it's really our personnel that determine our defensive ability, not the coach.

Hedo was shooting something like 35% before that game last night. Of course, he has to go off on us.

Maybe someday Bibby will "go off" on someone again. I wonder.
This team looked dazed and confused last night. They should have beaten that team.

Now we get to go to Phoenix and get run out of the building and watch the Suns put to 28 or 30 threes. Geez, I can't wait. Is there anything else on TV?

Our PFs have to get some more of the scoring load, particularly down low and in the paint. KT and SAR getting only a combined 10 pts or thereabouts hurts.

Kevin needs one of the 3-4-5 positions to be more of a scoring threat to take some pressure off him. Other teams have been quick to react to his scoring binge the first 10 games and put someone on him tight now effectively shutting him down.

The defense without Ron Ron takes a big hit. With him in the others follow his agressive D.

Bibby had a decent night but it's the only one in the past 4-5. His stats went up every year for the first 6 now last year and this they are going down. Plays thru hurts but how effective is he now?

The young 4's and 5's tend to kill the Kings. KT and SAR are not our answers.

Brad off the bench seems to work pretty well.

Price needs more minutes.

Cisco better get himself under control or he is trade bait. Great potential but not getting enough minutes to see what he can really do.

This is very true, because Kevin is deadly on close-outs. He either can shoot for the outside or take it inside after a pump fake. Ideally Shareef would operate down low and draw double teams, but he's looking way too much for his own shot and needs to pass out more. Ron could also serve that function, but he has the same problem.

The ball really needs to go down low more, but in order for that to not bog down the offense as it did against Utah, Shareef and Ron need to recognize when to take it to the hole and when to pass out.

That may be, but we don't have scorers at the 4-5 position except for Brad. When Artest is in, he can draw attention. I'd really hate to see much scoring load put on KT and SAR. It's a turnover waiting to happen.

Yeah, except lately Ron's defense hasn't been good either. I think his back really limits his mobility on defense. We need a healthy Ron.

I totally agree!

As long as we don't get in too big of a hole before he comes in. I'd prefer to start him and get the team off on the right foot on offense.

Way too many guards on this team (obviously!). And Salmons is the same player but with more experience. At this point, I'd play Salmons over Garcia.

And let's not forget, we've still got Jason Hart and Quincy Douby sitting over there doing nothing.

I always forget, we have Potapenko and Mo Taylor sitting over there as well, doing nothing. Why?

Is there any GM on the planet who would trade for those guys? Why not have the two kids from training cap sitting down there. At least they'd get as many minutes and they have a future.
