Small urban ghetto is nothing in terms of poverty as is the starving peopl in Africa dieing every day

Live 8 was a concert held to increase awareness about the G8 conference that will take place next month.

Bob Geldoff hopes that this concert, and the online petition, will encourage the G8 members to: a)forgive debts that several nations in Africa have no legitimate means to repay and b)increase aid to Africa in the form of grants, rather than loans.

Apparently, Russia has already forgiven such a debt.
