the Mavs fans really want this to be a Kings fans vs Mavs fans rivalry...and in all honesty i really don't think they can handle it

glad I'm not the only one who didn't get a good laugh out of it. I didn't even get a smile. In fact, it just made me sad. I love this team & I will support them, but I think it will be a while before I can stop thinking about what might have been.

In all honesty MAVS/KINGS is no longer a rivalry. probably a series sweep. The MAVS current rivals are SA, PHO & SEA.

Let's put it in perspective. You're a Mavs fan on a KINGS board. Funny how quickly you're ready to assume you're now somehow better than we are when we nearly took that game away from you.

i heard a lot of Mavs fans say they think the rivalry is over...but i dunno...

last night was playoff intensity basketball IMO...especially towards the end...and how there crowd was acting (especially after the Brad pick)

in MY MIND they are still rivals of ours...::shrugs::

Sorry lone star kids but the Mavs are NOT up to the Suns, SA or even the Sonics level. They are locked in at 4th place will not see the the WCF and are rivals of Sac, Houston, and maybe Memphis for the middle slots in the paly offs. Webber or no Webber Sac will be in contention.

Like when Shaq left the Lakers and the rivalry with them lost a lot of lustre.. the same can be so with the Kings losing Webber. But when Miller laid out Devin Harris it all sparked up again.

Well, you have had a tough week and I like you guys, you just keep believing that.

For the past 3 years, the winner of the Mavs/Kings regular season series lost in the playoff series. So if history teaches us anything, the Kings should beat the Mavs in the playoffs again this year.
